The Banker's piles haven't been touched at all in the last game, so he's happy to put some of his fortune on the line immediately afterwards with the aim of blowing out BEN!

As always, this is the starting 22...

1p
10p
50p
£1
£5
£10
£50
£100
£250
£500
£750

£1,000
£3,000
£5,000
£10,000
£20,000
£35,000
£50,000
£75,000
£100,000
£150,000
£250,000

...and then it all changes thanks to the Dulux Purpliser! There are 11 red boxes here with all the red amounts, 11 blue boxes here with all the blues, and 11 greens with percentages from 0% to 50%. That green percentage is the share of the red that gets moved to the blue.

We do that five times in all. For each application of that Dulux Purpliser, we need a red, blue, and green box selection - a different one each time. It can't be worse than last time - but now, it's time for you to try and do a LOT better!

Picking for the cycle, hoping to hit a home run in here with perhaps a single, double, and triple in there too. Although technically those are in the unadjusted 23. ;)

Anyway, red 1 is £35,000, blue 2 is £5, and green 3... is 40%! Your board now has a £21,000 and a £14,005 on it.

Red 4 is just £3,000... blue 5 is only £1... green 6 is also modest, at 15%, but it all helps, right? £2,550 and £451 are the new board amounts.

Red 7 is a big one, £150,000! Blue 8 is just 10p, here we go... green 9 is 25%, which bumps the red down to £112,500 and gives you a new backup of £37,500.10!

Red 10 tops even that, it's the £250,000! Blue 11 is £100... green 1 is 35%! That means a new top prize of £162,500, and a new massive backup of £87,600!

Final shift... £50,000 in red 2 could be moving for you... blue 3 is 50p, yet another peanuts amount... oh, but green 4 is 0% so so much for that!

Your starting board is now like this:

1p
£37,500.10
50p
£451
£14,005
£10
£50
£87,600
£250
£500
£750

£1,000
£2,50
£5,000
£10,000
£20,000
£21,000
£50,000
£75,000
£100,000
£112,500
£162,500

You've bought Box 5 to the table, and five is also the number to open before that opening prediction. GAME ON!

Not bad.

Let's hope the odds fall ever in my favor as we begin with 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9, please.

I'm sure you're hungry for some small numbers here... but box 5 is on the table! ;) You'll have to move that selection to another district...

Get lost. :P

Speaking of lost, 13 will be my last selection of this round. ;)

Here we go, then.

Box 1... £10,000. We do not object to that.

Box 3... £50! But we mostly want more like that!

Box 7... £100,000! That, though, is what the Banker wants.

Box 9... £5,000. Back on track...

Box 13... £162,500! Ooh, nasty. At least you Purplised it. :)

1p
£37,500.10
50p
£451
£14,005
£10
£87,600
£250
£500
£750

£1,000
£2,550
£20,000
£21,000
£50,000
£75,000
£112,500

The Banker says that round should have been disastrous, but was merely quite terrible. ;) He's ready with his offer...

Part of me is thinking £3,579, and another part is thinking £5,311, so let's go with:

PLAYER'S PREDICTION

£4,780

His actual offer was inspired by your stray comment earlier...

BANKER'S OFFER

£4,815.16 + £2,342

£7,157.16

He didn't go nearly as low as you thought - it's a 33.2% miss. sdgthju

BOX 23 OPTIONS
0%
37%
87%
137%
187%
287%

The Banker certainly lost you there! At £7,157.16... Deal or No Deal?

A tiny part of me was also thinking £7,531, but I dismissed it thinking it was way too high after finding 2 six figure reds. :(

Let's NO DEAL and go with 11, 15 and 17 next, please.

Hopefully opening 1-2-3 will be as easy as ABC in comparison, and we can keep those big numbers networked. ;)

Box 11... £500, there we go!

Box 15... £87,600! There goes the rest of the QM. :(

Box 17... £750! Might not have been my lucky day, then. ;) An all-blue round, but the Dulux Purpliser meant there was still a big number in there - but only the one, so you could have done far worse!

1p
£37,500.10
50p
£451
£14,005
£10
£250

£1,000
£2,550
£20,000
£21,000
£50,000
£75,000
£112,500

The Banker says he doesn't think you'll be particularly close on this offer either. ;) But can you prove him wrong and get a nice cash booster onto that Box 23 setup?

Surely this can't be £13,579? :ponder:

That would be a quite surprising uplift, so let's go for it:

PLAYER'S PREDICTION

£13,579

The surprise was there was no surprise...

BANKER'S OFFER

£7,157.16 + £2,342

£9,499.16

That's a whopping 43% miss. sdgthju :| We add -£23,000 to the money menu, and it's safe to say that won't be very palatable...

Shame on the Banker for throwing me so off track. :smt011

I probably would've predicted £9,900 had it not been for that "hint". :(

Oh well, so much for Box 23, then. Hopefully the conventional game goes well for me as I say NO DEAL and go for 21, 22 and 20, please.

Box 21... £451. Well, that helps.

Box 22... £37,500.10! A shame this blues cruise is stopping at all the big destinations...

Box 20... 50p! But it's taking out some tiddlers too!

What a curious game this is turning into.

1p
£14,005
£10

£1,000
£2,550
£20,000
£21,000
£50,000
£75,000
£112,500

The Banker says your Box 23 is already bad enough, so he is going to be very fair and sensible with this offer, and he means it.

This surely has to be either £11,841.16 or £13,579, so I'll predict:

PLAYER'S PREDICTION

£12,400

It's a bit rounder than that...

BANKER'S OFFER

£13,000

...but it's in that area and it's just a 4.6% miss! Goodbye, 0%!

BOX 23 OPTIONS
37%
87%
137%
187%
287%
-£23,000
ADD CAR

That's an interesting Box 23 setup to say the least, and your future offers will surely present a challenge to both make and decide on... but you can take £13,000 now and make your own mind up on 23 if you do! But will you... Deal or No Deal?

I definitely needed that, but that -£23,000 gives the Banker a lot of ammo, especially as I probably won't get an offer signficantly above £23,000 unless I go to 2 box.

Anyways, that is a fair offer at just under half thw average, but the board is too stable to stop at anything short of an ultra-generous offer, so NO DEAL.

18, 16 and 14, please.
