Both had the same idea...

BANKER'S OFFER

£14,500

...and they were both just the wrong side of £15k! The extra £50 tips it over 5.5% unfortunately, but the 6% miss after rounding up is still good to add a nice safety valve to this Box 23 setup.

BOX 23 OPTIONS
16%
66%
116%
166%
216%
316%
+£14,000

Another nice safety valve, ADD CAR, will be thrown in at 11-box to replace one of the percentages. Assuming, of course, you don't take this £14,500 right now... Deal or No Deal?

Pretty stable board still, so it’s a No Deal from me.

I’ll take 2, 13, and 10 next.

Third round, then. Can the top two remain? That's where the power lies.

Box 2... £10! And also in the lack of tiny amounts, which just became even more the case with that one. Nice pick!

Box 13... £37,500. The other half of the split £75k has gone.

Box 10... £950! The not-really-a-red is gone, and most importantly, the top two have not!

£40,000.01
£1
£50
£150
£2,750
£750

£3,000
£35,000
£50,000
£150,000
£250,000

If you get this one within 5%, you'll remove the 16% from the Box 23 options and have a Box 23 configuration almost as powerful as you can get. Can you do it?

Now I'd go with £22,000.

These predictions are not getting any easier. Where’s the Offer Button?

Going to have to take some time to mull this one over. Hmmm…

Okay, that’s enough QTT for now.

Once again, Ben’s prediction and mine are in the same wheelhouse. Therefore…

PLAYER'S PREDICTION

£22,000

Going with the Ben guess...

BANKER'S OFFER

£21,500

...AND IT WORKS! That's within 5%, and for the first time, we're replacing the lowest percentage option with ADD CAR to produce a Box 23 configuration of immense power:

BOX 23 OPTIONS
66%
116%
166%
216%
316%
+£14,000
ADD CAR

Six of those will send your total up, possibly a long way up. Only one will send it down, and that only by about a third. Your future fixed offers will have to reflect that, so expect them to be very big indeed.

But now, at £21,500 with Box 23 optional... Deal or No Deal?

You've still got five really good boxes up there, it's worth at least one more round I'd say!

I was leaning in that general direction myself, Aaron.

Thank you for another great offer, Mr. Banker, but No Deal.

Next up, it’s 20, 1, and 4.

Mark is calling on the brains trust, and so far they've not let him down. But what will happen now?

Box 20... £750! Tremendous start. Three more "real" blues remain, along with the disposable £2,750 and £3,000 boxes. Those fearsome five remain, and if we can keep the top two of them with any two others, I'd say you'll be looking at a seriously big-money call at 8-box.

Box 1... £35,000. Well, that definitely goes now, as you've hit the lowest of the big ones. I don't know how we'd react to £40,000.01 or £50,000 now, but we know exactly how we'd react to anything else.

Box 4... £250,000! Ugh. We certainly know how to react to that one.

Of course, this isn't remotely game over.

£40,000.01
£1
£50
£150
£2,750

£3,000
£50,000
£150,000

The offer has, of course, gone down. Or at least the one that lets you use that loaded Box 23 has.

BANKER'S OFFER

£16,500 + 23

OR, if you want to lock in a sizable sum of money and not have any uncertainty about how much, you can take this.

BANKER'S OFFER

£28,500 FIXED

Remember, you can take either of these offers, or you can turn them both down and open three more boxes.

I'd definitely go on here. Odds are you'll find no more than one of the chunky reds in this next round.

Well, I have a generous Box 23, and the 1p’s worth 40 grand. How often does that happpen?

I’ll go for one more round, so No Deal.

12, 9, and the ol’ Death Box, 22, are my next picks.

Will the Banker get you out at 5-box as you are anticipating? Let's see what the board looks like at at that point.

Box 12... £40,000.01. Well, there goes that one. But it's the £150,000 that is the big influencer on this one. Two of the five smaller amounts would still leave you in a fine position.

Box 9... £50! That is most certainly a smaller amount. And now, it's all about the box with the biggest number on the outside. Is it big on the inside?

Box 22... £50,000! It is... but it's not the biggest.

You have an out-and-out one-box game, but it doesn't have to be an all-or-nothing risk for you, as you can always opt for the smaller uncertainty of Box 23.
