Things have gone badly the last three games, but will number 8 be great for debutant Davey?

This is the starting board...

1p
10p
50p
£1
£5
£10
£50
£100
£250
£500
£750

£1,000
£3,000
£5,000
£10,000
£20,000
£35,000
£50,000
£75,000
£100,000
£150,000
£250,000

...before we fire up that Dulux Purpliser! There are 11 red boxes here with all the red amounts, 11 blue boxes here with all the blues, and 11 greens with percentages from 0% to 50%. Whatever green you find is the share of the red that gets moved to the blue.

We do that five times in all... one of each colour to start, or maybe all five at once?

OK! Let's do this. Loving the colour posting.

Red 3 is £50,000... and with green 4 we can confirm 15% of it is being yoinked and thrown on top of the... £5 in blue 5! So make that £42,500 and £7,505 on your board.

Over to red 10... only £5,000 there... green 11 demands that 25% is thrown onto blue 2... 10p there! That's a nice one to bump up to £1,250.10, with the red going down to £3,750.

Third one sees a move for red 4... that's £35,000, this could make for some amazing values on this board! Green 7... aww, was hoping for an odd percentage but no it's 10%, still a useful £3.5k to throw atop blue 7... especially as that's £1! Three of the bottom five are now effectively reds, as £3,501 is now on your board along with £31,500!

So far, you're moving the money into good places, but not that much of it. Will that change here? Well, red 11 is a chunky £75,000... and green 1 says that 45% of it is moving!! Oh boy, blue 9 is about to be a big number for you... 50p! AND AGAIN, HE'S DONE IT AGAIN!! Four of the bottom five have been bumped up, and this is the best of the lot, as it's now £33,750.50 paired up with £41,250!

Final one. Surely blue 6 isn't the penny. SURELY. Red 2 is £100,000, the biggest of the lot... green 5 is 20% so there's a new rock in town... blue 6... surely not the penny...

...surely...

£250 is the one getting the bump instead to £20,250 while the £100k becomes a still fearsome £80,000!

How about that?

Every Purpliser board is interesting. This is VERY interesting.

1p
£1,250.10
£33,750.50
£3,501
£7,505
£10
£50
£100
£20,250
£500
£750

£1,000
£3,000
£7,50
£10,000
£20,000
£31,500
£42,500
£41,250
£80,000
£150,000
£250,000

Still the jackpot to play for, and an armada of five-figure boxes on that board! As if that weren't enough, you of all people randomly got drawn Box 2 to start... this could be AMAZING, Davey. Five boxes to open, and then it'll be phone time...

Box 4... £80,000! Big one off the bat but at least you yoinked a chunk off it first!

Box 7... £750, much more like it!

Box 16... £10! That is actually your second-lowest amount on this board...

Box 17... £41,250! This board is now SO much stronger for that Purpliser effect, as you've instantly removed the two reds you took tens of thousands from already!!

Box 22... £500! BOOYEAH!

Three real blues and two weakened big reds makes for one interesting opening round...

1p
£1,250.10
£33,750.50
£3,501
£7,505
£50
£100
£20,250

£1,000
£3,000
£3,750
£10,000
£20,000
£31,500
£42,500
£150,000
£250,000

The Banker says this board is on one level incredibly stable, but on another absolutely not... make your prediction!

I think it's very hard to predict the offer but with everything on the board he could just replicate it to the £10,000 still there.

More realistically though he'd pop it inbetween the £10,000 and £20,000 so let's predict £15,000!

Similar amount taken out to Davao's game, so I'd predict £7,700.

CHANGE YOUR PREDICTION, DAVEY!!!!!!! ;)

I think he's being tight to be honest!

I think my prediction was fair given all the five-figure amounts in play.

No Deal for now, and he needs to take me more seriously than that!

11, 19 and 13 next please.

Battle lines drawn.

Box 11... £50! What a strike that is, as there's now only two true blues left on this board!

Box 19... £1,250.10 is also disposable!

Box 13... £3,000, completing a super round!

He's got to take you seriously now...

1p
£33,750.50
£3,501
£7,505
£100
£20,250

£1,000
£3,750
£10,000
£20,000
£31,500
£42,500
£150,000
£250,000

Make your prediction. "And make it a smart one this time," he says.

Box 6... £20,000. Took long enough to hit one in that area, let's be honest! We know which direction we want to go from there...

Box 3... £1,000! And we do! If this one is £10k downwards you can genuinely claim momentum...

Box 1... £20,250. It isn't, but I don't think that he can claim momentum either! Top two in play still...

1p
£33,750.50
£3,501
£7,505
£100

£3,750
£10,000
£31,500
£42,500
£150,000
£250,000

The Banker says that was about as good a round as you could reasonably expect there, and he's gone up... but how far up do you think he's gone?

I think Ben's on to something here there...I'm going to be more specific and predict £20,250 due to that amount exiting the game!
