Happy to take that chance, and putting his cards on the table with that statement as well...

Box 12... £70,000! Well, that's the 36% chance missed. If it ever wasn't, it's all about the jackpot now.

Box 10... £500! And that isn't it...

Box 8...
£1,000! And nor is that!

£1
£12,300
£700

£2,550
£250,000

He wants you to consider your definition of mega money. Does this count?

BANKER'S OFFER

£35,000 FIXED

Failing that, how about an offer that gives you a chance of winning over £75,000?

BANKER'S OFFER

£24,000 + 23

I'd definitely take £24,000 on this board in conventional play, so now it's a question of which offer to take. :ponder:

If I take the £24k, I only have a 1 in 7 chance of winning a lot less than £35k, but I only have a 2 in 7 chance of winning a lot more than £35k. In that respect, it's very similar to my earlier Box 23 dilemma. The two big differences with this one, however, are that the worse case scenario still leaves me with something and the amount at risk is over 5 times less.

Therefore, DEAL to £24,000 + Box 23.

6, 2 and 4 would've been next. I would've swapped for Box 19, and I shall choose Option 3 for Box 23.

Let's finish this off!

Box 6... £700. That's not the one...

Box 2... £2,550. Nor's that...

Box 4... £12,300! Nor is that, but it does at least mean you'd have only had £1 as the kicker against the £250,000...

BANKER'S OFFER
WOULD'VE BEEN

£85,000 FIXED

OR

BANKER'S OFFER
WOULD'VE BEEN

£64,000 + 23

You'd have swapped for 19... which had £1! You were handed £250,000 in box 3 at the start of the game and never touched it with the Purpliser either! That let you get £24,000 as a Box 23 stake even on a one-box game at 5-box, and now to reveal your final winnings...
