DEAL. Can't turn down that level of generosity, especially when it means the Double actually means something using that on 23.

15, 19, 21.

£1,777.70 is locked in on the blue - he'll be ecstatic if he's saved himself over £8k on that one! Now to see what happens on the red...

15 - £1,000 we'd have taken...

19 - 10p! One away from making it on that one...

21 - £5,000 means we've still got the £15k and £50k to aim for on red! BT...

** RING **

He's been trying to think of clever ways to throw in some conditional offers here, but given that they haven't gone well for him recently, he won't... Here's a flat offer...

BANKER'S OFFER

£9,242.30

... which would produce a pre-23 win of £11,020!

It's OVER NINE THOUSAAAAND!

Banker playing safe. Should I? I think that offer going just the right side of the £3k/£15k finish makes it tempting, and I don't know how much generosity there will be on the £50k-high finishes other than £15k/£50k to validate going on here... so DEAL.

11, 13, 9, 7, 5, 3 is the proveout order.

In the baaag! £11,020 and potentially up to £20,000 more. Let's see how we get on...

11 - ** RING **

The Banker's not done having fun yet!

 BANKER'S OFFER

BANKER'S CONDITIONAL GAMBLE

Hand back the £1,777.70 you won on that board and go into live play with a 1 in 3 shot at ten grand... But Box 23 would then be blue-board compulsory, with no upside... Is it worth the risk with nearly £10k already locked in on the red board?

That offer makes about as much sense as my £35,000 + No Box 23 super AMO. £1,800 would be marginal on that 3 box board normally, but the No Box 23 stipulation makes this as easy NO DEAL unless you misread the board/offer.

It's peanuts or £10k, with that menu it's 13/18 of peanuts/nothing, 1/18 £5k, 4/18 £10k. (All based on the assumption the 2-box is rejected here, for simplicity and so I don't give any hint to Aaron as to what I'd be looking to deal on the £10k-high 2-box if I got it in live play.) So the EV is £45k/18, or about £2.5k.

If it was actually against the £1,777.70 I'd take it on. But it's not, it's against £1,777.70 on that 23, and that's worth a load more. NO DEAL. Honestly, take out the no-upside 23 stipulation and you have a really interesting decision there.

Keeping the money with a huge chance of an uplift there! Let's play the proveout...

11 - £1 was the best start there...

13 - £15,000! Now shut that board down completely!

9 - £10,000! Good job you didn't take the gamble!

1p vs 50p...

BANKER'S OFFER
WOULD'VE BEEN

17p

7 - £3,000 and you'd still have been in play for £50k here!

£5 vs £50,000...

BANKER'S OFFER
WOULD'VE BEEN

£18,222.30

5 - 1p means you'd have won 50p on the blue...

3 - £50,000 means you'd have then crashed to just £5 on the red! Great deals!

Box 1 had £5 and Box 17 had 50p! Now decision time...

Those money menus...

    £1,777.70 on Box 23:
    DOUBLE (£3,555.40)
    +£20,000 (£21,777.70)
    +£10,000 (£11,777.70)

    MONEY BACK (£1,777.70)
    HALF (£888.85)
    NOTHING

OR

    £9,242.30 on Box 23:
    DOUBLE (£18,484.60)
    +£20,000 (£29,242.30)
    +£10,000 (£19,242.30)

    MONEY BACK (£9,242.30)
    HALF (£4,621.15)
    NOTHING

The second one is clearly more profitable but has more of a risk... Which amount would you like to buy Box 23 with?

I'll set the floor at OVER NINE THOUSAAAAND by buying Box 23 with £1,777.70.

And it'll be the square root of 9 for my choice.

£9,242.30 is the only certain safe choice here...

... but what will we add to that for your final winnings tonight?

Option 3...

... is HALF! That gives you the wonderfully odd win of £10,131.15 - thanks for playing! :D
