Good evening and welcome to finally the run up to our fiftieth episode! Dr. Hindsight, KP, JDGA, Archstered and American Coupon Boy have all battled it out for a spot in Game 50, where they will be playing for a pre-Box 23 jackpot of £500,000! Playing this game is Dr. Hindsight!

----

These five games are being done in secret, once all five have been played they will be broadcast and we will find out who won the most money. So for this game, you've been allocated Box 9 at random, but we're going to twist this up! Here are the five twists we have in new Aaron's Deal:

    HAPPY 2017
    A TALE OF TWO BOXES
    KNOWING BANKER
    BLUE BUSTER
    UNLIMITED MINUTES

They have been randomised, and I need you to choose a random number from 1 to 5 to determine what will be played tonight!

Okay, I'm going to leave this up to chance. I'll roll a six-sided die to determine my selection.

The die says 2, so I'll go with that.

Number 2...

    HAPPY 2017
    UNLIMITED MINUTES
    KNOWING BANKER
    A TALE OF TWO BOXES
    BLUE BUSTER

... that's the UNLIMITED MINUTES! This means YOU are in control of that telephone. You can open as many or as little boxes at a time as you wish, and then you can request an offer from the Banker at any time! This has worked out in the player's favour in recent games, and hopefully can get you to episode 50! I wish you the best of luck, pick a box! Or two, or three, or however you'd like :P

This will be fun to see played out. Not only is it Mark playing in a game with huge incentives to be aggressive, he's got Unlimited Minutes...

3 - £10,000! Better!

20 - £50,000! Get over to the left now...

5 - £50! Almost forgot what that colour looked like!

12 - 10p! Something without a pound sign! BT...

The Banker welcomes you for your first ever game of this new format, and hopes you don't do as well as you did in your first game, where you took him for £46,000!

Of course, you only have to give one prediction in this revamped version, and you don't have to give one here. You could wait and predict a later offer if you wished to do so, so the ball is very much in your court Mark!

Dr. Hindsight wrote:
The prediction is based on the fast that I lost three reds, two of which were Power 5 amounts. And the exact figure is...

PLAYER'S PREDICTION

£4,900

In at £4,900...

BANKER'S OFFER

£9,200

The generosity is so high because of the power of your Unlimited Minutes!

Dr. Hindsight wrote:
*beep*. Well, screw that.

It's a 46.74% error and you don't get any money for that I'm afraid! So at £9,200... is it a Deal or No Deal?

Dr. Hindsight wrote:
Thanks for the great offer, but No Deal.

Since your last offer you've hit the £100k but have followed it up with two blues... He's actually gone up!

BANKER'S OFFER

£10,750

The beauty of this is that if you wanted to push it further, you could literally open a single box and then call the Banker again

Dr. Hindsight wrote:
That could very well happen. I'll say No Deal and play on.

On we go! 12 boxes remain, we have £15k and £35k backing up the big quarter-million. Keep those.

That box was enough for him to take you up to...

BANKER'S OFFER

£12,500

One box was worth £1750 itself! Remember you're playing for the prestigious spot in our 50th game, and also keep in mind Box 23 over there in the corner. There's plenty of factors here Mark, but will it be a Deal or No Deal?

Dr. Hindsight wrote:
A nice increase. I like having the advantage.

I don't think I'll make it to game 50. No Deal.

I don't think I'll get any more out of this game, and I'm content giving someone more deserving the chance to play in show 50. Because I knew from the start that it would not be me playing for all that money.

It's too risky for me to continue, so it's going to have to be a Deal.

And there we have it! £14,900 is yours, and now we must see how this would have played out, so you call the boxes and of course the Banker too!

The final question now is whether or not you'd have swapped Box 9 for Box 6 as that's always offered at this point in the game?

... as it's time to bring Box 23 to the table...

... and here's the money menu:

    DOUBLE (£29,800)
    +£15,000 (£29,900)

    MONEY BACK (£14,900)
    HALF (£7,450)
    NOTHING (£0)

Either of those upper options give you a much better shot at episode 50, but with £14,900 Mark are you purchasing Box 23, Deal or No Deal?

Dr. Hindsight wrote:
For a risk-averse person like me, risking nearly 15 grand on Box 23 would not have been my course of action. No Deal.

No Deal it is! And just to see what it'd have been, what's your option, 1-5?

Dr. Hindsight wrote:
Die says 2 again, just like at the beginning.

    HALF (£7,450)
    +£15,000 (£29,900)
    DOUBLE (£29,800)
    MONEY BACK (£14,900)
    NOTHING (£0)

It would have been +£15,000 to take you to the maximum possible £29,900! Not to mind though, you still have £14,900 there after a difficult game, well done!

Dr. Hindsight wrote:
I would never risk more than 5 grand on Box 23, but certain situations can change that. Thanks for allowing me to play :) .
