So Mark won £14,900 in the first game! That's the benchmark, and let's see if there's an advance on that now...

----

Welcome to Game 46 of Aaron's DoND! We had Mark last time trying to claim his spot in the chair for game 50 where the player will get the chance to win up to £500,000 - and that's before Box 23! Having his go now is KP!

He has Box 4 on the table, but it's twist time now...

    HAPPY 2017
    A TALE OF TWO BOXES
    KNOWING BANKER
    BLUE BUSTER
    UNLIMITED MINUTES

... 1-5 please!

One by One...

    HAPPY 2017

    A TALE OF TWO BOXES
    KNOWING BANKER

... it's HAPPY 2017! So we'll find out what your gift is right at the end, but nothing will change the main game! Following your box number would have got you Two Boxes!

Off we go, first 5 David, good luck!

The Banker welcomes you to this special set of shows, and he can't do anything but make a strong bid for that box after that opening...

... but is that enough to garner a prediction at this stage?

KP wrote:
I bet. I'm not going to bet on *how* generous. Let him make a statement and hold that prediction back!

I reckon it *might* be in the £15k bracket in the circumstances though.

HERE WE GO, NO DEAL!! Unprecedented play from the guy who plays deal by the notion that it isn't a "take it or leave it commodity!"

KP wrote:
It sure isn't, but I want to maximise my chances of the bigger shot! And because I'm not going away empty-handed that's not THAT out of character for me in normal circumstances, I'd ND £15k with a fallback of a useful prize...

That is true! You have one final decision to make but we may know the answer - Swap or No Swap?

KP wrote:
SWAP! Bring on number 17!

Thanks to your relatively okay prediction earlier, you have this advanced #moneymenu for Box 23...

    DOUBLE (£100,000)
    +£15,000 (£65,000)
    ADD HALF (£75,000)

    HALF (£25,000)
    NOTHING (£0)

What on earth are you going to do after this game, are you willing to purchase Box 23 with your £50,000? Deal or No Deal?

KP wrote:
Now, on average this IS positive expectation. HOWEVER, I think £50k and the bonus is a good enough total to sit in the clubhouse with. If I'd replaced the HALF with TRIPLE I would have been tempted, but I didn't, so I'm not. NO DEAL. Option 1!

NO DEAL it is, so let's see what it'd have been...

    ADD HALF (£75,000)
    +£15,000 (£65,000)
    NOTHING (£0)
    DOUBLE (£100,000)
    HALF (£25,000)

Up to £75k thanks to your prediction earlier! £50k is yours though, but that's not it as you need to pick your gift box, 1-5!

KP wrote:
This is the BIG... 1! :D

1...

    £4,539
    ROOM REFIT
    EXOTIC HOLIDAY
    GADGET PACKAGE
    HOME CINEMA SYSTEM

And with that, you take your winnings up to £54,539!! Awesome game there David congratulations!

KP wrote:
BOOM! WACKY MONEY!

----

There we have it! That game was literally all over the place but KP conquered it to take the top spot with £54,539! What's going to happen in Leah's game? We'll find out next time!

Great job, KP. :smt023

I probably would've dealt at 5 box, as wouldn't want the chance of playing show 50 to influence me too much on a 30% disaster board and both offers would be a cast-iron Deal in normal play. I definitely would've dealt £22,000 at 2 box, though, and I'm VERY surprised you turned that down.
