He's predicted another £4,343 onto the offer...

BANKER'S OFFER

£11,840

... the Banker's having so much fun with these offers tonight! That's, I suspect purposely, 10.04% lower than your prediction, so you get the Offer Button, but the offer button only!

It's still going to come in useful, but at £11,840 Ben is it a Deal or No Deal?

That's ok, as the Banker already knows that making a derisory button offer with me in the chair is likely to be a detrimental move on his part.

As always, the button has virtually no value if used in Round 4, so NO DEAL and let's go 20, 18 and 16, please.

We play on! The Banker's saved himself from a mandatory minimum Offer Button, but how will he react when you press it? Conventional round for now, though...

20 - £5,000! And now we want some blues!

18 - Your Box ;)

16 - £250! One more needed, unless you've changed your mind and you want to press the button?

Oops, I thought I had Box 10. The offer here will probably be in the high teens here to groad me on so let's complete the round with Box 14.

Just being armed with the button could be huge here.

I have a proposition for the Banker: if he tells me what the offer will be for finding a blue and then pressing the button, he can replace the EXOTIC HOLIDAY with NOTHING in the list of bonus prizes.

Deal or No Deal, Banker?

** RING **

"I'll take him up on that, DEAL! If he plays on and hits a blue, I'll go up to at least £23,000. Bye-bye exotic holiday!"

And so here's your Happy 2017 setup:

    ££££
    HOME CINEMA SYSTEM
    ROOM REFIT
    GADGET PACKAGE

    NOTHING

So what do you make of that, Ben? At £20,000... Deal or No Deal?

I was hoping the Banker would say £26,000, but that confirms my suspicion that he wouldn't reward playing the button in this round greatly.

Therefore, as this would be a cast-iron Deal in normal play I will take advantage of this boosted offer and DEAL the £20,000. :smt023

12, 10, 8, 6, 2 and 4 would've been my prove-out picks. The button would've been saved for the final round.

Ooh, I thought you might play on there. I'm not sure I wouldn't, but mostly because of the Happy 2017 bonus and the 20% £15k moonshot if it all went wrong. Take those out of the equation and I am indeed out of there.

£20,000 is yours! Has he just saved himself an absolute fortune? Let's see...

12 - £15,000! It wouldn't have been blue anyway!

** RING **

I think KP's post made me reassess the board, and with a 50/50 chance of being in the superb position at 5 box I think this is worth going for.

DEAL to the gamble and let's stick with 10 and 8.

Only way I'd consider going on here is if the Banker promised £65,000+ for finding another blue, and as I doubt the Banker will be the mood to make another guarantee after the last one blew up in his face, I'll gladly DEAL the £40,000. :D

6, 2 and 4 would've been next, and the button would've been used at 4 box regardless.

And NO Banker, I'm not interested in another gamble on a 2 blues/£250k board. ;)

The Banker's little fun gamble cost him an additional £20k, but did he still save himself a huge bunch of money? Let's see...

6 - £250,000!! Amazing work!! :D

BANKER'S OFFER
WOULD'VE BEEN

£8,686

As a throwback to your earlier offer!

4 - £75,000!! Perfect play :smt023

2 - 10p

£100 vs £500

BANKER'S OFFER
WOULD'VE BEEN

£243

And Box 18? That was only worth £100! Box 19 had the £500! 23 time...
