I'm expecting this to be £26,000 or £30,000, so I'd predict £27,500.

That might give the Banker a clue as to what your actual utility curve is... But what did he think?

BANKER'S OFFER

£22,500

You're in the band!! :D :D Your Box 23 looks like this:

RANDOM POWER 5
DOUBLE

MONEY BACK
HALF
QUARTER

And THAT makes it all the more interesting because it's just at the bottom end of what you predicted... I genuinely don't know what you're going to say to this question now David...

... at £22,500... Deal or No Deal?

What a POOR offer. :smt011

Go for it, KP! Surely that round was worth more than a £4,000 uplift??!!

Well well well! In for a penny, in for a hundred grand!!

Was that a huge miscalculation on the Banker's behalf?

We know the SWAP is guaranteed in this version and you always SWAP... Will you be doing so now? Swap or No Swap?

Away with Box 7! This is a HUGE Swap, though not the biggest of the series eh Ben? :P

17's now on the table...

I hope this is a FANTASTIC result and that, for the second time this week, the Banker has to pay out one hundred thousand pounds...

17 -
£100!! NOOO!!! :x :x   What a tragic end to a very justified gamble! The Banker pitched the offer perfectly in hindsight, because all along you had £100,000 right in front of you in lucky 7! :smt009

Time to bring Box 23 to the table...

The difference-maker was knowing I had a 20% redemption shot in this scenario...

You gave us one hell of a battle there, and unfortunately you only take £100 to Box 23...

RANDOM POWER 5 (£35k - £250k)
DOUBLE (£200)

MONEY BACK (£100)
HALF (£50)
QUARTER (£25)

There's one saving grace there, and what a massive saving grace it would be too. We haven't seen it come out of Box 23 yet, but there's a first time for everything...

Would you like to buy Box 23 with £100, Deal or No Deal? I'll need an option 1-5 too.

Option 2 it is... I hope you're about to bounce back in the most glorious style that this game offers...

Please show us, Random Power 5 to guarantee David at least £35,000...

QUARTER (£25)
MONEY BACK (£100)
HALF (£50)
DOUBLE (£200)
RANDOM POWER 5 (£35k - £250k)

It was Option 5 that you wanted! :smt009 We managed to clamber our way up to £22,500 - and David took a huge gamble. Unfortunately, it didn't pay off and Box 23 didn't compensate it for him either. Tonight, it's just £100 - but thanks for giving us a great game! :smt023

Bad answer for Box 23. :(

Two massive regrets for KP and no prizes for guessing what they are. :( ;)

(Turning down £18,500 and swapping, as the former was the big financial decision of the game and £22,500 was poor for the board in comparison :smt011 ).
