Hi everyone, this is Alex Davis from the game show website BuzzerBlog. Big fan of this site. I read it daily.
I've been doing the pitching/production stuff for around a year or two now, and I have a format I'm dying to send to UK networks and production companies. What I do is make a fully 3D animated pitch film for a show that runs through a few rounds, all the key points, and all of that stuff. It's more economical than renting studio time and it has the same effect. I've been sticking with US people, and I'm wanting to branch out to England which has, by far and without a shadow of a doubt, the better game shows.
Because I'm pitching it over here, I wanted to make a special UK version converting the dollars to pounds and adding some UK specific questions. I also want to add UK voice overs for it instead of American ones. I was wondering if there is anyone willing to do voice overs, over the computer, for this project. The absolutely only thing you'd need, beyond a Microphone, is Skype so I can coach you along. But even if you don't have that it's fine because I can just tell you how the lines should be read and I'll edit them at my in-house studio.
If there's anyone willing I'd appreciate it more than you know and if the show somehow makes it somewhere I'll be remembering you for sure. The game's a quiz show with luck mixed in. It's been almost picked up in America but I got screwed over by a certain network at the very last second. Again, if anyone would be willing to sit down for 10-15 minutes and do a few line recordings for the film, I'd appreciate it so much. Thanks.
I'll probably bump this up later if I don't get any answers just so I can make sure everyone read it, so I apologize in advance, haha.
