Taylor Swifts' and Florence and the Machines' entire back catalogue.

Ditto with Olly Murs and One Direction.

And you can chuck in any sort of 'goth' or 'emo' music too.

Gangnam Style.

Everything that Blur ever produced with the exceptions of She's So High and There's No Other Way

.....ech, there's hundreds more, but those are some of my particular music bugbears.

Anything by Adele, and most of "pop" music of today for that reason (Nicki Minaj etc).

Funny how a lot of people's worst songs ever have been from the last 2-3 years, proves just how dead mainstream music is now

To be fair, a lot of songs we here now pretty much sound the same, a lot of it's just generic rap/dance-pop that generally follow the themes of sex, drinking, partying, egotism (i.e. rappers bragging about themselves, thinking they're king sh** and they have swag)

I can't help but think that all this music is contributing to the problems with drugs, sex and drinking in our youths today.

Also, I think a lot of mainstream artists are more interested in just getting attention (regardless of whether it's good or bad attention, they just think fame is fame) and making money from us. Which is why we get people like *grits teeth saying her name* Nicki Minaj who dress up looking like freaks and acting like idiots in their videos, because they just want attention

We Gotta Fight Fight Fight for This Love, by Cheryl Cole. Heard it in Morrison's earlier, and could not stand it!

Agreed with both of these. I can't stand anything by Celine Dion and I remember that Cheryl Cole song getting overplayed to death on the radio and on music channels.

99.99% of everything we have in our supposed "Top 40" now.

Oh, and the top 100. And the top 1,000. Pretty much everything we have thesedays. It's all crap.

I've noticed people tend to vote for songs like, 'Call Me Maybe', 'Somebody that i used to know', 'Titanium' and stuff by Adele for their worst songs ever.

But those songs get the overplayed vote for me. At least they're meaningful songs and not just some autotuned drivel about clubbing, sex or how awesome you think you are

This is going back a while now, but Aqua's Barbie Girl really grated on me at the time and i still find it annoying these days

I hate Rita Ora's How We Do. Reminds me of some prats in my school year who just want to drink etc...not at 15 or 16!

I've never heard such worthless crap in my life.

Rita Ora looks rougher than a bear's backside.

I'm predicting a Duffy-style 'instant rise followed by instant fall' for her and she'll be out of the public conciousness by this time next year.

But that said, Rita does actually have a better voice than Duffy did. She sounded like Daffy Duck on speed.
