It's a new dawn, it's a new week, it's a new host for thee...

are you feeling good?

I'm sure our Banker daniel123 is, he was well up for this task before. Remember, negotiations go through him - PM him with your proposal, he will let you know if it has been accepted. I'm assuming that you're actually going to take a successfully renegotiated offer, though Dan the Man can let me know either way; if your negotiation has been declined, though, you can confirm your decision on the original offer on the main thread.

Today's game features box 16 on the table. Evidence of both this and the regular board...

Image

Round 1

10 - £50,000. Dan'll like that - nobody else will.

9 - 10p! Cue very different emotions on all sides.

3 - £100,000! Ouch!

7 - £750. It's the wrong blue, but it's more important to get the right colour in this game.

20 - £50. More like it!

Image

Stage is set for Dan...

Deal-eye says the offer should be around £10,000, the FD says around £8,000, and the mid-2013 stingy Banker says it should be £5,000. :smt011 :smt019 I wonder where daniel123 will pitch this. :ponder:

EXIT LIGHT - ENTER DANIEL123

Well, well, good evening. I haven't yet had my dinner, so I am ravenous; however, I have just enjoyed a frame of snooker against myself. I played quite well, and actually managed to scrape the win! (Just).

You've taken a bit of a hit already, haven't you? £50,000 and £100,000 doesn't bode well for the coming rounds, I don't think.

In fact, I don't think it'll get any better than you've got it right here, right now (right here, right now, right here, right now, right here, right now.... :smt023 ). With that, I'm offering you all a chance to escape what is already a raging inferno of a game of Deal Or No Deal -

Banker's offer:

£9,400

That's an excellent offer, Banker, but the £250k is still there and there isn't much room to negotiate now, so NO DEAL.

I'm liking these little gimmicks with the references, and I am planning to have a bigger gimmick when I'm Banker next week. A big part of considering offers, especially in the later stages of the game, is weighing up risk and reward. At each offer, I will mention what I will offer if you have the worst possible round. I will then leave it up to you all to predict what I will offer if you have the perfect round. The potential offer will be a multiple of £1,000 unless I indicate otherwise. If you are exactly right, I will DOUBLE the next offer for you only, but only if you haven't dealt yet. If you are within £1,000 high or low, I will multiply your next offer by 1.5, but any further and you won't get an offer increase. Also, I may throw in some early-2007 level generous offers along the way, making for VERY difficult decisions.

Rest assured, there will be a good few more of these references over the course of the week.... :smt023

Round 2

The situation...

In live play
American Coupon Boy
JoelDavies
Archstered
hogwild94

Nothing decisive coming out of a relatively strong opener, if Dan built his plans around someone dealing that he will now be lost in Never-Never Land!

Here's the next three.

1 - £1! One-derful!
21 - £10,000. If that's as high as we go in this round, it's a good one...
4 - £75,000! It really isn't.

Image

Arguably already a one-box game, but when that box is the £250,000, Dan will have something to think about...

Haha! Never-never land, One....let's crank it up a notch, shall we? ;)

Well well....that was a good round for me. It's just the fuel I needed; you're stoking my fire and certainly giving me that which I desire.

As long as the £250k remains adrift of the rest of the board, I can safely say I think I can answer your question - I have the dreams that you've been after. :smt023 And you're not going to see them. Well, until Tuesday's gone, at least.

For now, the inferno rages on in this pitiful game of Deal or No Deal - and I'm sure, I'm 100% confident, that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel....is just a freight train coming your way.

Escape. NOW.

With -

Banker's offer:

£6,400

Deal-eye says the offer should be around £7,500, the Fair Deal says around £5,000, and the mid-2013 banker says around £1,000. :smt011 :smt019 Where will daniel123 go? :ponder:
