"I've never really played a serious game, so I'd like to just test myself..."

You've been handed Box 5 at random... let's do this thing!

12 - £100! For now...
3 - 10p! And on it goes...
14 - £35,000. It's a reality check, but probably no more.

Banker's offer:

£17,500

£3,000
£10,000
£15,000
£20,000
£50,000
£75,000

I can't remember when - or even if - there's been a board this good on the real show...

Banker's offer:

£32,000

Oh, I'm sure you do! ;)

But oh wow! Blimey... I'm going to have to go on here, purely because of the board. I'm fully prepared for a reality check or two - NO DEAL.

13, 10 and 4 please.

Like coalition cuts, the question now is not whether there will be pain, but how much.

13 - £3,000! Erm, not much?
10 - £250,000!! Bam. Savage cut to your top prize.
4 - £100,000!!

Well that's a bit more than you bargained for.

£1
£50
£500

£10,000
£15,000
£20,000
£50,000
£75,000

The Banker says that proves that it's easier to destroy a board than to build it, and also that you should never dismiss an offer just because of the stage of the game...

Banker's offer:

£16,000

Ack... what a shame... still a five-three here is pretty strong and £16,000 is very good. Even after any all-red round I'm still left with two really nice sums of money. Its getting serious now, but I'll plough on. I'll just make sure I don't leave with a pittence if I can - NO DEAL.

20, 15 and 8 please.

20 - £10,000. It's below the offer, it's reasonable to lose that one.
15 - £500! And we can definitely lose that one!
8 - £20,000. Maybe not a good box, but it's fairly safe to call that a good round...

£1
£50

£15,000
£50,000
£75,000

He doesn't think you're playing for a target, so...

Banker's offer:

£21,000

I sort of had a flashback at Lynne who had £50k/£75k final, and sort of one back at John G... If worst comes to worst, I reckon I'd get his opening offer! I'm probably expecting a stick with a Blue/£75k and mid-teens for Blue/£50k. 30% chance though of having a very comfortable final, and for that, I think it's worth fighting for. We gotta file, file, file, file, file for divorce! Ahem. It's an ever so slightly reluctant NO DEAL from me here.

7, 18 and 19 please.

The Banker says you are risking a 10% chance of having some words come back to haunt you...

7 - £1! Not happening! What a time for that!
18 - £50!! You are guaranteed fifteen grand, but could that be fifty?!?
19 - £15,000!!

Not only the perfect round but in that order too...

Banker's offer:

£62,499

So here we go... you win your box contents, Banker sees no point offering the swap...

Box 5 has won you £50,000. Box 2 had £75,000.

What an extraordinary game!

Interesting game. I'd have dealt every single offer from the 3rd (£32k) onwards :) I thought £16k at 8-box was particularly good after the bad round.
