Given that the jackpot in this version is effectively >40% higher than the advertised value from a pure EV perspective, that obviously changes the calculations. How much is open to question given the stakes, but once I've got £274k already, I might well actually value the extra highly but purely for charitable donations?

The platinum pot had an EV of about £400k (excluding the BB, which barring a huge Box 23 Deal was already locked in at 2-box and virtually so at 5). I'd be treating it as a £400k box, and by that measure I think both the last two offers were about right and I'd probably take the £240k.
