I agree. Just don't Skyline. I mean if it was something like £12,000 yes but not £29,000. Even if you have the 100k in their box nothing to be ashamed about.

It's not when you dealt at £11,000 and the Banker offers it on a 1p/£75,000 finish, as I proved on the last forum game I played.

But think, it's not just about winning £100,000.

He'd be guaranteed the Bonus Box (providing he didn't lose it all via 23). It could be £200,000.

Basing decisions on potential is always a bad idea. It's one of the lessons I've learned from being a business writer and regular Dragon's Den / Shark Tank viewer.

Mark, if the potential reward is worth the risk and the odds aren't totally against you should go for it. With your attitude, you would Deal £5,000 on a 1p/£75,000 finish (and the Banker did offer that before), and if that's the case you might as well Deal the 1st offer (as most of the time it is WAY more than 13% of the average).

You're right, I probably would do that because I don't want to win 1p.

Numbers don't factor into my decision. Fear does.
