Which shows have you been to see filmed?

Yeah, I knew this. I went for another look around back in April, and the guy told me that there's a very strict leisure policy for Wednesday afternoons - and that the Maths students desperately needed extra tuition time, and the university wouldn't allow them to have it on Wednesday afternoons :laughing

Filming starts again on Monday! So who's going down in the coming weeks / months?

I was going on Friday 17th but most of the group pulled out, so the trip has been cancelled

They were going to be January recordings.

We're planning to definitely go see another Christmas Star show though; I know they seemed disappointing on the TV but it never stopped the atmosphere being just as good, if not better!

In case anyone didn't know, I'm going on Monday (6th) to see the xmas shows, which should be great! I'm planning to wear a santa hat if they will allow (which seems a bit surreal at the start of October, but anyway... :roll:

I should know the dates of the Christmas Star shows when I get back, as my shows I believe straddle that period, but I'm not altogether sure...

EDIT: Oh, Big Davey, did you know when they were filming the Christmas Star shows?

I am also going on Monday for the two afternoon shows.

Look for the elderly lady in the wheelchair, my lovely friend's lovely mum, I am with that party.

We are hoping to find out the dates for the Christmas Star shows.

Just to update this thread.

We had a good day on Monday in the Dream Factory.

The shows we saw were for 23rd and 28th of December as predicted by Stats Man.

There are no dates decided for the Christmas Star shows as far as I could find out.

I wish I could get to see more shows being recorded but my friend and I travelled to Bristol on 19th May.

These games will be shown next Thursday and Friday 30th and 31st of October.

They were the last two games of the "Trick or Treat" week shows.

On the Thursday we are sat on the front row third and fourth seats in from the left as you look at the screen.

We have pointed witch's hats on and as my friend has long blond hair I wore a long blond wig :roll:

On the Friday we are sat on the front row to the right of the crazy chair. I wonder if they will show my friend fast asleep :oops:

She was sat on the end where you come into the studio :roll:

I am starting to see the contestants as you will see them next week. The costumes and make-up were excellent and the set was amazing. We met the Mum of the lady who had helped to design the costumes. As we were very near to missing our trains we shared a taxi to the station.

I was there on 9th October and watched shows which will be screened on 5th/6th/7th January. The first one was a classic - just what we will all need to wake us up from our post-Xmas lethargy!!

Say no more!! ;-)

Anybody going next week? My stepdaughter is "in the zone" and expects to have her game on Monday or Tuesday :-D

Yes

Her game was recorded last Monday.

She is very stubbornly refusing to tell anybody exactly how much she won but she sounds rather pleased with herself these days. The Banker apparently described her as "feisty and formidable"

We could have told him that years ago!!

Yes, it was recorded recently, on 11th December. Anyway, my next visit to the Dream Factory will be mid January - looking forward to it!
