A well-deserved victory for Jess, but it was also good to see other games getting some credit as well. There'd be no point to having these polls if we were all expected to vote for the same game every month, similarly also they'd be redundant if we were barred from voting for certain games just because the box on the table was undersold (which Jess could have done on a different day!).

Even if Niko had won over Jess, I still don't think it would have been as odd as Anthony winning June 2011 instead of £100k Sam.

No offence to her, but I SERIOUSLY don't think she should have won that. it was a good show, but DEFINATLEY wasn't worthy of the title.

Anyway, I've just noticed that this is the very first time in the SotM's six-year history that a thread for a Heat or Final has gone to a third page.

Just goes to show how dramatic this Final was...

It's a VERY good job that Niko didn't win it.

Why?

Because he blew the chances of getting more money BIG time.

But, seriously, surely it's time to put this affair behind us, and move on to other things. The more time we spend talking about this, the nastier it will become, and I would not want that at all.

Indeed, I normally lock the topics when I set up the following month's poll (in order to stop people bumping up old topics and causing confusion), but I've locked them earlier this time as I think the discussion over this month's poll has reached its natural conclusion.
