I think this was one of the first shows I watched, a number of familiar faces there (think I know who replaces Dave in the next show as well!) The early game boxes etc. look strange now, but it is like going back in time almost 6 years to see these! Was a fairly quiet month if I remember correctly, but still enough to get me hooked on it. Dave started the original contestant site/forum as well didn't he, don't suppose it's still going now?

And Billy back on commentary as well, would be good to see a few more old regulars from the early days back!

A couple of weeks ago, Dave kept randomly appearing in my life - first when I was watching a DOND repeat on Challenge, I opened up the local evening paper in Leeds (where we both come from) and there was an article about him appearing on a Worst Driver type programme on Five. Then a couple of days later, I saw a review of his on Tripadvisor of a hotel I had booked.

I still find it amazing that if Dave hadn’t skipped box 9 he wouldn’t have got anywhere near £20,000!

Also what was interesting was when Noel mentioned the bit about asking advice from a man on a bike. Fast forward to late August 2006 in Lindsay's game and this is almost exactly what happened!

Just watched the repeat on Challenge. I know nowadays we have the 60 minute shows where we get extra time for banter and wackiness but this was a show where the player's personality made a great game (and the manner of the OPW topped it off)
