Martin, Taneesha, Ellena, Keith and Kerry are the audience members up for today’s newbie position or possibly a nice share of the “newbie” value… £46,000!

Taneesha selects Box 1 – £15,047! “Thanks a lot for that! It’s going to go far!”
Keith selects Box 2 – £10,069! “That’ll help me pay off some of my credit card debts!”
Martin selects Box 3 – £2,953! “Gah, ‘least I got something out of it.”
Kerry selects Box 4 – NEWBIE! Kerry will be joining the wings in a moment, but we need to see what Ellena is taking home…
Ellena selects Box 5 – £17,930! “Oh thanks very much! That’s so much money to me.”

One person off the wings and one person on the wings to join the table. That is… AL!

Age: 22
Location: South Wales
Profile: “I’m here to play for some cash today and sort my life out!”

Al is short for Alexandra, and she is a woman. Her friends call her Al.

Al selects another young girl out of the audience to select a Joker box, and it’s Box 2!

Joker Selection Box 2 – EXTRA OFFERS! This will give Al the opportunity of cash offers at 4-box, 3-box as well as the 5-box and 2-box offers. Again, if it’s on the table, it’s worth nothing.

ROUND 1:

22 – Kerry - £1,000
21 – Dottie - £7,500
17 – Eliott - £75,000
10 – Rita - £300
15 – Jake - £1! That's a good round!

Banker's offer:

£26,000

It’s the value that Roger accepted yesterday on his hilarious Biscuit board. Al decides to NO DEAL.

ROUND 2:

23 – Alice - £100! This is good!
11 – MK - £50,000
4 – Dwayne - £2,500
16 – Kathy - £50

Banker's offer:

£50,000!

A great increase of the offer; “because it’s only the second round doesn’t mean you can’t take it,” says Ethel. “Because the million and everything else is still there though, I’m going to have to NO DEAL!”

ROUND 3:

20 – Shelley - £200!
9 – Colleen - £10,000
6 – Louise - £1,000,000! Ouch!!
14 – Malakai - £25

Million went, but this is still strong!

Banker's offer:

£45,000

It’s only a £5,000 drop, but still it’s a strong board; NO DEAL.

ROUND 4:

5 – Flossie - £500,000
19 – Kerenza - £10
24 – Tyrone - £5,000 completes a very average round...

Banker's offer:

£40,000

“It’s an interesting offer,” says Colleen. Al says it’s a lot of money too, but the next round could put everything in her favour. “It’s extremely strong,” mentions Kerenza, “you could afford to hit some high values and probably get away with it.” In the end, Al NO DEALS.

ROUND 5:

3 – Ethel – EXTRA OFFERS!!! We’ll have extra offers in round six now.
1 – Ainsley - £250,000!!
8 – Bob - £40,000

Al saved her bacon with that Extra Offers box.

Banker's offer:

£39,000.

Al nods and says it’s a good offer, and if she was to open three boxes, she’d probably have taken it; at this stage though, it’s a NO DEAL.

ROUND 6.1:

2 – Joshua - £100,000!

Banker's offer:

£26,000.

Al rolls her eyes; at her own luck? Maybe, or probably the offer she’s just received. Ethel says that it’s a crucial stage where she needs to start taking the value of money seriously. One box can now destroy the game. Al nods in reply. Colleen says it wouldn’t seem worth going for the next offer with a 25% chance of hitting the big one then receiving an offer around 10 to 15,000 higher than the twenty-six. Al looks at the table, and decides that she will actually just try one more round; NO DEAL.

ROUND 6.2:

3 – Dale - £500!

Banker's offer:

£39,000

Colleen nods and she says she was expecting that figure. Dwayne comes in and says hitting the fiver next could leave her with a twenty-grand minimum. Ethel emphasizes; “IF it’s the fiver.” Al looks up – out of surprise – DEAL!

7 – Kenny - £150,000! Al runs up to give Ethel a hug, and then Kenny.

Banker's offer would've been:

£5,000!

Al goes up to open her box…

12 – Al - £20,000! She actually had the twenty thousand!
18 – Cassandra - £5

Al says she was happy and glad she took Ethel’s advice. Once again, everyone is celebrating as the credits roll!
