(After a while...)
GAME 6:
Welcome to Deal or No Deal with me, Aaron, and one contestant that can win huge. Let’s welcome our contestant.
Contestant: Ellen Heaplecross!
Ellen is 31 from Ashland, Wisconsin. She has a husband, Denny - who is with her today along with her mother and two best friends – and twins, who are both 7 in April. She wants some money to throw them a big party, and help her restart her life after a bad start. Her husband owns a house that is too small so they would like a new house that they can all move into. Well hopefully, we can fulfill that dream tonight, because Ellen – well, first, put turn around. I’m going to show the jackpot to everybody else.

Husband and all friends and relatives are shouting and screaming, Ellen turns around and get really excited. There is a $1,000,000 replacing $750,000.
“One and a half million dollars… and they go down in decreasing amounts to a penny. Ellen, choose one of the 26 cases you think holds the one point five.”
Chosen case: 19
15: $25
4: $1,000,000 – Oh dear! Now we are short of one huge case already.
13: $50,000
9: $100
24: $300,000 – That’s not what we wanted
26: $5,000
Banker’s offer: $57,000

Ellen says it’s a good offer, but she says NO DEAL.
10: $1,000
21: $50
16: $1
3: $400
1: $.01! Fantastic case to open.
Banker’s offer: $88,000

NO DEAL
23: $1,500,000!! Oh dear, now the jackpot case has been removed…

12: $750
11: $100,000
8: Can we avoid the big ones? $75! Yes we can!
Banker’s offer: $68,000

NO DEAL
2: $75,000…
5: $10,000! Okay right we need to avoid the 200, 400 and 500 in this next
case.
17: $500,000! Arrgh…
Banker’s offer: $47,000

NO DEAL
20: $10
6: $300! Thank god we survived that round…
Banker’s offer: $78,000

Ellen’s very tempted, hovering over the button before shutting the case, NO DEAL.
7: $5! Fantastic stuff!
Banker’s offer: $118,000

Ellen is really tempted to deal, but her husband points out all the stuff she could do with $200,000 and $400,000 compared to what she can do now. Ellen says she’ll regret it and says No Deal.
Was Denny right?
Let’s find out
14: $400,000
“I’ll kill you…”
Banker’s offer: $46,000

“It’s your fault; look at what we could’ve had!”
NO DEAL
Let’s keep the $200,000 in play…
Can we?
18: $500
“Oh thank god… I thought it was all over then…”
Banker’s offer: $82,000

“Okay Denny, this time we take the DEAL!!”

All her family comes over to congratulate her.
“Did you make a good deal? Had you said no to $82,000 what would your next choice be?”
22: $25,000
Banker’s offer: $100,000

Ellen would have said Deal.
Your case 19 all along contained…

And finally to prove it:
25: $200,000
“It feels amazing to have a huge $82,000…”
“Does this feel any better? Bring in the all new Wheeler Dealer!”
A huge wheel is “wheeled” in (I couldn’t resist) with a lot of cash wedges on it and one BUST!
“In this game, you take turns at spinning the wheel to gain a cash total. After each round, you have the option to take your winnings by Dealing, or going on to a new wheel with two more BUST Wedges, but the cash amounts rise in each round. If you do hit a BUST, you leave with nothing from the game.”
“Alright, let’s play this!”
“But on one condition…”
“Okay…”
“You give us 75% of your winnings, that’s $61,500 of what you dealt, and we’ll let you play… This leaves you with a guaranteed $20,500 if you hit the button, and you go on, or close the lid, which signs that you want to keep your money. Your choice…”
“We came with nothing Ellen…”
“I know, and I want to leave with some good cash…”
Ellen stares at the button, and presses it. “Let’s play this!”
Everyone applauds, and Ellen steps up to the wheel.

Spin the wheel six times and let’s see what you get…
Spin 1: $10,000! Fantastic spin to begin.
Spin 2: $5,000 – Another five thousand to your total
Spin 3: $5,000
Spin 4: $5,000
Spin 5: $1,000! Okay, one more…
Spin 6: $5,000! Amazing score!
“Okay, the “offer” shall you call it is $31,000 extra to leave with. If you go on, we remove $1,000’s from the board and add $25,000 but we add two busts. What’s your decision?”
NO DEAL!
“Okay right… you have to spin six times before you can leave.”

Spin 1: $2,500
Spin 2: $10,000
Spin 3: $5,000 – Now that cash is rolling…
Spin 4: $5,000
Spin 5: $2,500 – Come on… can we see a $25,000 before the rounds over?
Spin 6: $2,500 – So close to those two busts!
“Right, your offer is to leave with $58,500… Is it a Deal or No Deal?”
“I want to leave with more than I dealt, NO DEAL!”
“Alright… you only need 4 spins, 2 more Busts are added and there are now some $50,000 and some $100,000 spaces, best of luck.”

Spin 1: $10,000!
Oh my god…
Spin 2: $50,000 – Right in the middle of the two busts! Geez that was close…
Spin 3: $10,000
Spin 4: $10,000! You’re still in!
“The offer is $138,500 on top of $20,500… What are you going to do?”
“This one is up to you, Ellen…”
“I did come with nothing, let’s go on.”
Huge cheers.
“Oh my god… 2 more busts, and a few $250,000’s on the wheel! Pick 4 of those in these 4 and become a millionaire please.”

Spin 1: $100,000! Yes!
Spin 2: $100,000… ANOTHER ONE?!
Spin 3: $50,000… THIS IS A HUGE TOTAL…

Ellen is in tears, her whole family come up for her.
“Erm… well then $488,500… A huge cash sum, such life-changing amount, $488,500 Deal or No Deal?”
“Thank you so much… DEAL!!!”
Everyone screams; all her family hugs her.
“Ellen, you were so brave… you walk away now, I know it sounds great, but a huge cash sum of FIVE HUNDRED AND NINE THOUSAND DOLLARS!”
Audience applauds.
“Now guys, I’m telling you that was the meaning of TENSE… we’ll see you next time, someone can win $1,600,000… or over in tomorrow’s mini-game… see you then, goodbye.”
