Aaron: Hello west wing, hello east wing. Welcome audience, and welcome to you viewers at home. This is our Tuesday show, the day after we gave Theodore a huge £50,000. Let’s take a look at the board.

Image

Aaron: Theodore maintained a strong, stable board, but he knocked out the half a million in the first round. I’m excited to see what the offers will be like in the latter stages of the game with half a mill, and a few more meaty sums of money remaining on the game board. Who knows? It could happen today with… GREG!

Greg smiles and picks his box up. He casually walks down the walk of wealth to the table.

Greg is 24 from Middlesex. He has a girlfriend, Carly, who is in the audience. He wants some money to go toward a new home and a possible wedding in the future.
Aaron: It is possible to take away some really chunky money from this game.
Greg: Totally agree some great amounts on that board. I’d love to take some big money home.
Aaron: Got a target?
Greg: I have a target of what I’d like to reach in the game.
Aaron: Want to write it in the book?
Greg: Okay.

Greg begins writing down his target and Aaron pushes the cameraman out of the way.

Greg: Right, it’s in there.
Aaron: Alright, so let’s begin the game Greg. You chose box number 6 randomly before the show started.
Greg: Yup.
Aaron: It was sealed by an Independent Adjudicator in a private room as were the other boxes. She is the only person to know the value of the boxes, I don’t know, the team don’t know, and the best thing is the banker doesn’t know either.
Greg: Indeed.
Aaron: Your first 5 and we get a call.

Greg: First, it’s going to be box number 1 with Ellena.
Aaron: Ellena, get this game underway, open it.
Ellena: Good luck

£50,000

Aaron: Fifty thousand… the irony to yesterday’s game. You don’t have £50,000 in box 6.
Greg: Minor setback… box 14!
Aaron: Serenity… how are you today?
Serenity: I’m very good, thank you.
Aaron: How are you feeling about that box?
Serenity: Hmm… low red/high blue?
Greg: I suppose it ain’t too bad, let’s open it.
Serenity: Best of luck.

£10,000

Aaron: Too right! Well done!
Greg laughs, and then Aaron talks about a psychic upon us for a moment.
Greg: Box 2.
Aaron: You got any feelings Robert?
Robert shakes his head.
Aaron: Let’s see what you have anyway, open it.
Robert: Good luck Greg.

£2

Aaron: Yes! £2 is off the board, not in your box 6, and possibly a huge five figure sum of money.
Greg: I’m getting vibes off 20 for some reason… I’ll leave it. *looks around again* Box 16.
Aaron: Scott, some low numbers to pick off the board, can you pick one?
Scott: Yes I can!
He opens the box really fast, in the process off removing both seal platforms.

£5,000

Laughter turns into applause.
Aaron: What’s this? Scott! Do you know how to open a box decently? God…
Greg is still scanning around, and still thinks he should leave 20; he chooses box 22.
Aaron: Armando, let’s just pick a low value box, and we get a good opening offer.
Armando: I really hope this is blue.

£150,000

Aaron: Ooh… £150,000… thanks Armando.
Armando looks sorry and apologises, but Greg says it doesn’t matter.

The phone rings and Aaron answers it. All the lights dim except from the table and the overhead table lamp that shine red. Greg looks please and winks at Carly. Aaron seems to be in a good conversation as he hangs up.

Aaron: Full marks to you… because the half a million and the quarter million are available, he’s offering £11,800!

Image

Everyone applauds the offer, and Carly smiles too.
Greg: I think that’s a good offer, especially as I took out the 150.
Aaron: He didn’t have an option really. He wasn’t going under ten grand he said.
Greg: He couldn’t though, could he? *Aaron shakes his head in agreement*. I’m ready for the question.
Aaron: £11,800 Deal or No Deal?
Greg: No Deal

Everyone applauds and Carly looks happy with the decision.

Greg: Just three now each round?
Aaron: Yes, the three box rounds start now.
Greg: Let’s have box 3.
Lillian: I really hope this is a blue…
Aaron: Do it!

£1,500

Aaron: You did it!
Greg hugs Lillian.
Lillian: Oh I am relieved…
Greg: Not as half as I am…
Aaron: Come on, it’s only the second round!
Everyone laughs in agreement.
Greg: Let’s go for the newbie, Mike, number 19 please.
Mike: Good luck.
Aaron: We don’t want to see any mega money.
Mike: I’m sure we won’t!

25p

Greg: Wahey! *Runs over to shake Mike’s hand*
Aaron: Oh what a positive group we have here.
Greg: To say the least! My good mate Cody, box nine please.
Aaron: Cody, a blue, or £25,000 downwards and the banker remains on the back foot.
Cody: A real good mate, gonna miss ya.

£15,000

Aaron: That’s fine
Greg goes to hug Cody, and Carly tries not taking it literally.

Image

The phone rings and the lights dim. Everyone is looking happy, and a short conversation startles Greg.
Aaron: Erm, right then, twenty grand.

Image

Greg: Erm, wow! I never expected that so early!
Aaron: He’s scared.
Greg: I’m ready for the question however.
Aaron: It’s twenty grand Greg… Deal or No Deal?
Greg: I’ll follow the book and say No Deal.

Louder applause this time and Carly doesn’t look as satisfied. It’s as if she wanted him to deal.

Greg: Carly isn’t happy with me, I can tell…
Aaron: I think we can too…
Greg: Carly, pick one for me.
Carly: No, I’m not getting involved
A little 20 second argument begins until Carly is forced to choose a number; box 8.
Phillip: Right then, here goes…
Aaron: Carly wanted him to deal, reveal a penny.
Phillip: Let’s do it!

£1

Aaron: Close enough, a pound’s gone
Greg: Thanks Carly! Right then…
Aaron: This is shaping up nicely.
Greg: Lakisha, reveal a blue for me.
Lakisha: I’ve got a good feeling about 4…
Aaron: Remove the sealant, and lift it…

£1,000

Aaron: Yes!
Greg: Wow!
Everyone applauds Greg and it suddenly erupts into a cheer.
Aaron: One to go…
Greg: David, 21.
Aaron: Can we get through this round, this box without hitting the big 4?
David: Let’s hope for the best…
Aaron: You think there’s a high number in there?
David: Oh no, I was just saying.
Aaron: Ah right, lets see a blue.

1p

Greg: YES YES YES!!
Aaron: Yes! Wow… look at that board!
Camera turns to the board.

Image

The phone rings. Aaron says, “and Carly would’ve dealt…” before lifting the phone up.
The conversation looks serious. Greg smiles and drinks his coffee, as the lights are back up and the phone is dropped.
Aaron: The banker says listen to the missus next time…
Laughter from the audience.
Aaron: Had you taken Carly’s advice, you’d have missed out on a huge offer of £33,000!

Image

Greg: WHOA…
Audience applaud.
Greg: I came with two targets I wrote down. One was a sum I’d like to walk with, and a bigger sum which is what I’d automatically deal if it went over. I’ll tell you now its right in the middle…
Everyone “ooh”s.
Greg: I haven’t seen £33,000 in my life before…
Carly: Take it Greg; I don’t want to see you lose it.
Greg: It’s why I applied. When I saw the advert for the show, I thought it was an opportunity to gamble someone else’s money. I probably would take that offer, but with that board? I’m not sure… I’m ready for the question.
The lighting dims red as Aaron asks the question.
Aaron: Thirty-three… thousand pounds… Deal or No Deal?
Greg stares at the board.
Greg: No Deal.

Carly cringes over the roar of cheering and applause. Aaron looks shocked as a few others do.

Aaron: Right then. 3 to go.
Greg: Hmm… *sighs*. Box number… 7, with Yasmine.
Aaron: Missing those big numbers in this round will result in an offer in at least the forties; we may even see the fifties.
Yasmine: You really deserve it, I hope, just hope its low…

*seal off*

£250,000

Greg bangs his head on the table…
Aaron: A quarter of a million…
Greg: Oh what have I done?
Aaron: A stupid thing, or a great thing. 2 more to open.
Greg: Fifteen please.
Aaron: Jordan remove the sealant…

*seal ripped off*

Aaron: Lift it.

£500,000

Everyone groans, and Greg looks disappointed.
Greg: Sorry darling.
Carly turns away in dismay.
Aaron: I don’t know why you disown him, he can still with £25,000 £75,000 or £100,000!
Cody: Yes!
A huge roar of applause erupts, and Carly still looks a little miffed off.
Greg shakes his head. “Eighteen.”
Aaron: Open it Stanley.
Stanley: You deserve a big win, I hope it’s low.

£100,000

Everyone groans and Carly shakes her head. Along with the disappointment, you can feel the anger emitted from Carly.
Greg: When it’s your game, you do what you want to do. It’s my game, so I did what I wanted to do for myself.
Some people applaud before realising it’s a serious situation.

Image

Aaron answers the phone. The banker discusses how the argument is funny, and Aaron counteracts the conversation by saying, “I wouldn’t laugh…” and the banker agrees. Aaron hangs up, thinking about what to say as most of it was about the argument.
Aaron: Erm… that was the worst possible round. Six thousand.

Image

Carly chuckles a little.
Greg: Do you even respect my decisions? You really don’t give a damn.
Aaron: Right, that’s it, Carly, you’re going out.
Carly gets up and walks out, and says, “Shame on you” on the way out.
Aaron: Are you okay, Greg?
Greg: I feel disowned. I can’t believe she’d do this to me.
Audience “Aww…” and everyone applauds to get him in a better mood.
Aaron: £6,000 Deal or No Deal?
Greg: No Deal…

Everyone applauds him, and Greg manages to pull a smile.
Cody: Come on Greg!
Greg nods.

Aaron: We can still get you £25,000 and we can still get you that £75,000.
Greg: Too right. Unlucky 13 please.
Florence: A woman like Carly doesn’t deserve a real man like you Greg.
Everyone cheers and applauds, and Aaron has a funny reaction
Greg: What are you trying to say?
Everyone laughs and Greg winks at Florence.
Florence: Good luck chap.

£75,000

Groans around the studio
Greg sighs and says, “It doesn’t matter, I can still get more than what I wanted.” He then selects box 20.
Aaron: Are you sure? You said you felt something from this box.
Greg: Let’s go for it.
Natalie sighs, “What can I say? Good luck.”

£50

Greg: Phew…
Aaron: One box to go, keep the 25 and the offer shouldn’t be too derisory.
Greg: Number 5.
Aaron: Come on, a low blue amount.

£25,000

Even more groans. Greg laughs a little and shakes his head.

Image

The phone rings. “Hello… yes, we’re all feeling a little subdued… fine… bye.”
Aaron: £400.

Image

Greg laughs.
Aaron: Four hundred, Deal or No Deal?
Greg: No Deal.

Everyone claps.

Greg: Let’s just have a quick round and go for 10, 17 and 11 in one go.
Aaron: Kerri, open 10.

£10

Aaron: Great, open 17, Fran.

£3,000

Greg: Haha, oh dear…
Aaron: And let’s just open 11 to finish off…

£5

Greg: Wahey…

The phone rings and a quick proveout-style call to say the offer of £240.

Image
Image

Greg: I’ve enjoyed my time here, it was great. I’m ready for the question.
Aaron: £240, Deal or No Deal?
Greg: No Deal.

Aaron: Okay, you’ve made it to the end of the game. We now give you the option to win the value of your box, or to win the value of Daisy’s box 12.
Greg: What’s the point? I’ll stay with 6.
Aaron: Okay is it £100 or £500?

*seal off*

£500

Cheers
Aaron: So it isn’t all bad… Daisy, reveal £100 please…
Daisy: It’s such a shame…

£100

Aaron: I hope that you will get something out of this, and good luck with your future… love life…
Greg nods slightly.
Aaron: Shall we take a look at the target?
Greg: Yeah, okay
Aaron: Greg wanted… £20,000 but would turn down anything below £50,000 and deal anything higher than that. It’s such a shame, but at least you got a little something out of it, Greg, £500.
Greg: Thanks.

The contestants come up to commiserate.
Aaron: Well, what a show. The board was looking really strong. He turned down an offer of £33,000 and his girlfriend cringed. He walked with £500 and I really don’t know what will happen in his future. See you tomorrow.

A black screen with some white writing comes up. “Greg and Carly discussed this after, turning into big fallout. Greg and Carly decided to split up after a 10 month relationship. Greg moved further away and Carly moved back in with her mother.”
