I've suddenly become obsessed with the Australian version, so I'll do a series, in the style of JR (short and sweet) and Resident-Seven's roundup and megastats. Let's get my first game started.

====((>>STATS<<))====
Orange = Highest Deal offered by Banker.
Green = The Deal the player made. / The amount the player won.
Red = The amount the played had in thier case.
Blue = Double or Nothing and bet.
Purple = Epsiode number.
Violet = Amount won on the podium, for correct guesses.

1 - Mon 5/1/2009 - $36,000 - $500 - $500* -> DoN = $3,500 -> Nothing = $2,000 - $6,000 (*as a one off, his fiancé's megaguess winnings were added to the DoN gamble)
2 - Tue 6/1/2009 - $6,050 - $10 - $3,150 -> DoN = $2,150 -> Nothing = $1,000 - $1,000
3 - Wed 7/1/2009 - $13,600 - $200 - $200 -> DoN = $199.99 -> Nothing = $.01 - $1,000
4 - Thur 8/1/2009 - ???? - ???? - ???? -> DoN = ???? -> ???? = ???? - ????

P.S. The one below is so I don't have to BB Code eveything next time, and use it as a template.

Monday 5th January, 2009

Block 7 take it to the podium, and so does the guy in Block 2, Row E, Seat 4 makes it to the podium too.

Andrew: G'day ladies and gentlemen and welcome to Deal or No Deal. Now, instead of playing for $200,000 we're playing for half a million dollars!

*huge applause*

Image

3 questions are asked and it looks like today's contestant is...

Contestant: Steve Fidwell!

Steve selects Case 17.

4 : $75,000
11 : CAR!
15 : $1,000

Andrew: We want to move over to the blue side now.

9 : $250

Andrew: There we go.

6 : $150
14 : $5,000

OFFER: $13,719
Steve says NO DEAL.

1 : $15,000
3 : $2
25 : $3,000
16 : $750
5 : $200!

Andrew: Now this is more like it. Show us the money Walter...

OFFER: $22,500
Steve: Still got 3 greens and $50,000. NO DEAL.

8 : $20
21 : $5!
12 : $20,000 Correct guess, Sheila gets $500.

Andrew: Oh not too bad!

7 : $100

Andrew: This is fantastic! 3 greens out of the 11 on the board, and Walter goes to...

OFFER: $36,000
Steve: That is amazing... but I think with 3 to open, there's a slim chance of taking all 3 out.
Andrew: Could still happen, and the offer would drop to about... 4 grand? Keep those 3, and you're up to 45, maybe 50?
Steve: I'll stick it in one further, NO DEAL.

13 : $200,000

Andrew: Oh no! Please don't say we jinxed it...

2 : $100,000

Everyone gasps, and a $5,000 Megaguess. He gives it to his fiancé on Case 26.
Andrew: BOOYEAH! What's in Case 26 for $5,000?
Joanne: $500,000!
Steve: Oh dear!
Andrew: Is it the completion of the worst possible round, and she gets $5,000? Let's see...

26 : $500,000!!!!

Andrew: OH MY GOD! It is, too!
Steve: Hahaha, can still win 50.
OFFER: $3,735
Steve says they've got 5 grand in the bag, so No Deal.

23 : $1

Andrew: Yes, thank you!

19 : 50c!! Correct guess and Thom gets $500.

Final six, and offer:
Image
Steve says he'll try get to five figures; NO DEAL.

10 : $50,000

OFFER: $1,650
NO DEAL

22.
Andrew: Come on let's miss the reds and hit a blue?

22 : $50!

Andrew: Come on Walter...
OFFER: $2,576
Steve: We've got $5,000 safe... Let's try go for another 10, NO DEAL.

20 : $10

OFFER: $3,800
Andrew: If you go for one more case and hit the 500, he'll be at 5, maybe 6 or even a premium on that... knock out the 2 grand, it comes to 4 and half, five maybe? Take out the 10, and about eleven or twelve hundred.
Steve: Let's go for that final offer then, No Deal.

24 : $10,000

Steve: Oh no... ah well.
OFFER: $1,247
Steve: NO DEAL.

Andrew: Okay, Steve. We can take the value of Ken's case 18, or we can stay with 17 you picked.
Steve: I'll stick with 17.
Andrew: Ken, what do you have up there, for $500?
Ken: $500!
Andrew: $500 for $500, reveal it please!

18 : $2,000!

Andrew: Oh no! You actually won the $500...

17 : $500

Andrew: But it ain't over yet!
Sirens alert and two cases come in.
Andrew: It's the Double or Nothing! Okay, Joanne, can you also allow us to gamble, not all of that, but put it toward Steve's $500 to bet with?
Joanne: Do I heck! No go on babe, go for it.
Andrew: You have $5,500 to bet with, you could put it all down...
Steve: I think I'll put 3 and half down so we go to 2 if it doesn't work.
Joanne cowers and Steve picks Case 1.
Andrew: Pop those locks and...

1: NOTHING

Andrew: Oh no!

2: DOUBLE

Andrew: Steve, you played an unlucky game, but you walk away with $2,000 thanks for playing! Here comes the cheque!
The cheque for $2,000 comes in and the credits roll

I don't think the $5,000 Megaguess would actually count as part of the money to risk on Double or Nothing.

I'd hope not given what happened!

EDIT: And in fact precisely this situation happened with the first $0 win - his partner won a $10,000 Megaguess, he had a $1,000 case win and lost it all on DoN.

Trina: Oh god...
Andrew: Trina, come down here a minute... *Trina walks down* Okay the Double or Nothing is your final decision-maker. You could put all your $3,150 and make it six three, or just a portion...
Trina: I'd have liked to gone further into the game... I think I'll put down $2,150.
Andrew: Okay $2,150 on the line. We go to $1,000 or $5,300. Pick a case, 1 or 2.
