None of the family look particularly fazed, and neither does Nika. Ruhina doesn’t attempt to rub it in, and moves swiftly onwards. "We have to find both of those big numbers now..."

“14, Revazi please.”
“Give us the million please Revazi, that would be a huge relief!”
“I hope it’s a big one Nika, but I’m going for the 750,000z instead!”

Box 14 – Revazi – 750,000z
** CORRECT GUESS - 2,500z **

More applause from the audience, as the charity pot graphic (both on the screen and on a small display on the front of the table where Nika is sat) increases to 12,500z. “Excellent work Revazi! But. The million is still there, so this would still have been a massive offer.” The phone rings.

“Hello… Oh right, okay!” Ruhina hangs up. “Thanks to that, he would have gone down, to 180,000z!”

For the record I probably would've dealt 165,000z as well.

There’s a quiet applause from the audience. “Would you have walked away with 180,000z if you were still playing, Nika?”
“Definitely!” he cries almost immediately, which receives laughter. “I couldn’t risk losing it all having come this far.”
“Alright, you’ve got one more attempt to find it… If you don’t, you’ll probably have the highest offer you’d have received all game. Are we going for Juchim at 5 or is it to be Dre at 23?”
“Let’s try 23.”
“I really, really hope this is the million for you Nika, great job tonight. I know that money will do a lot for you and your family!”

Box 23 – Dre – 750z

Huge gasps around the studio as they’re all now wondering whether Nika has just undersold the million zeela box in the very first game! Artine is visibly shocked, but Nika’s still smiling – albeit in disbelief… “Now you would have had a 50/50 chance of being a millionaire!” cries Ruhina, her eyes almost popping out of her head. “What would he have paid you to not walk out of here with that prize on our very first show?” The phone rings.

“Hello… Mmm…” Ruhina hangs up and is screwing her face up. “Oh Nika, if we were still playing right now, he would have had to offer you three hundred and sixty thousand zeela!!”

“Over twice as much as your deal…" The audience are mumbling among themselves as Nika looks mildly terrified. "This really was your lucky day, let’s not forget though – and I’m sure you haven’t – that you took a deal worth a huge 165,000z!” Huge applause and cheers from the audience "... but you sold Box 9 to the Banker for that amount. It either has 30,000z inside and you've made a good deal, or it has one million zeela inside it and this was truly going to be your lucky day! First, we need to ask Juchim what he thinks is in his box for a chance at a final 2,500z for the charity pot…"
“I think I have the million in here, Ru!”
“We all hope you’re right, Juchim… Nika, it’s time to find out… On this Yotday evening, were you on the verge of becoming a millionaire?!”



Box 9 - 1,000,000z

The audience are absolutely gobsmacked and nobody can believe what has just happened! "Out of twenty-four boxes you happened to pick the most valuable one!" Ruhina's glaring at Nika in amazement, while Nika doesn't seem to fazed by it, and Box 5 is opened...

Box 5 - Juchim - 30,000z

"The Vestara Homeless Shelter will be receiving a brilliant 12,500z which I'm sure will go a long way, and you're taking home a huge 165,000z - congratulations Nika!"

Nika and the family celebrate as Ruhina turns to camera and says "Well, Nika missed out on a huge million zeela tonight, but he surely made, a Big Deal! Join us next week, but for now, goodnight!"

What a game to start the series with.

The Banker definitely played that well. The 9, 6 and 4 box offers didn't scream Deal nor to go on. Even the 3 box offer gave somewhat of a decision, though most players (myself included) would probably take it with so much at risk. Only a mad gambler would've won the jackpot, though!

That was crazy, especially for a first show...
I would have stuck on one more round and bailed at 250kz. It was played very well by both sides, though!
Also, that was quite a lot for the charity pot. 5 correct guesses out of 23... are you sure the Box Club isn't full of psychics? But you really would have had to go full Wakey in order to win the jackpot there. Wow...

I'm curious to see the different "personalities" you bring to the show. Playing everyone totally reasonably would be a little silly, you know? Still, this was great fun to watch and I'm excited to see the next one.

I worked out that on average there will be about 2.78 correct guesses per game.
