The 3rd member of the 10p club has been initiated. That was absolutely horrendous luck for Steve and he deserved so much more!

That was an unfortunate game. i was sucked in too and might well have no dealt the 5 box offer too but that was a pretty unlucky round.
I'm beginning to get a bit sick of 2 blues+ 1k +3k +35k boards as they're rubbish. £3,750 was a bad offer. 5/6K should have been offered IMO .

Dang, that sucks. A great contestant who shook my hand after my box open and I was really rooting for him to do well. The banter with the other contestants today was great, but he should have won way more than that, first male 10p winner since 2005, and the first ever contestant to win a blue on the 24th, previous record was Claire and Wendy's £1,500. Only non-blue day left now is the 6th.

Really sorry about that, Steve, you deserved a way more 'bosting' amount than that. At least you've had the privelige of being a Deal or No Deal contestant with memories and friends that will last a lifetime!

That has to be the most depressing game in ages - I think each one we're getting at the moment feels even worse than the last! And here was me saying that whoever joined Sexy Joan in the caravan would be so cool, but absolutely not after a game like that, and what Steve needed the money for. Shame becuase there were a good few comedy moments in there with Brian and Alan!

I wouldn't have known what to do on both the 4th and 5th offers, so I thought Steve was brave for turning them down, but absolutely not reckless at all - he just had the worst luck ever, and didn't even get the chance of a consolation high blue/low red at the end! And a deal for £3.75 would have been inappopriate too, I want the moment whe someone deals for less than £20 to be a comedy trainwreck, and that made be just feel sick.

And Box 6 has produced two 1p wins AND two 10p wins - stupid 6. I despise it (trsut Laura to have had it though!).

But well done Steve for being such a great player!

I had a feeling that might be the 10p game as it unfolded towards the end, and was really hoping he would deal a couple of those offers as they clearly needed the money. It was just another really unlucky game - we've seen four of the bottom five amounts won in the past week and a half which is an unbelievable run of bad luck.

Still, some good moments earlier in the show, Brian's definitely the legend people made him out to be before he appeared and liking Asim, Carol and Alan so far as well!

Another Sunday, another heart-rending story. The trouble with this is that it raises expectations so high that anything other than a big win leaves a bitter taste and a 'feel-bad' game.

The start looked ominous with the 'bostin' chant and 'ask the pretty blond member of the audience' after the first and second offers but thankfully after that it settled down to normality.

Unfortunately normality these days seems to be a slow and even drip-drip of big numbers and hardly any offers worth dealing for. The no-deal at 5 box was brave but there was a feeling of inevitablilty about the resultant unveiling of the £35,000.

Wish it was like the movies where the good guys always win.

Very rarely does an episode of DOND leave me feeling sad, but Steve's one certainly did. I really liked Steve - a great guy with an interesting system to play the game and huge ambitions for what he wanted to do with the money - the fact he won so little when he wanted to put it to such good use is absolutely horrible.

Steve - you really are a great guy - probably one of my favourite contestants ever and I'm so upset you only won 10p - I was really willing you to get at least something out of the game when it all went wrong, but once again, there were no real dealable offers in that game and it was so horrible to see you win 10p.

Well done for keeping it together and for wanting the money for such a brilliant cause - I wish you and your wife much happiness in the future and hope you can raise the money for such a good cause.

David.
