Pity he only got 1p though. :(

The reason why its good to have a system is because if you deal and you have a pre-determined order for the boxes, then you know that the numbers you pick in the proveout would definitely have been the same as the ones you would have picked if you carried on.

I say that like, everytime i watch the show!! But i would probably have a method worked out if i was on the show instead of just randomly picking boxes. I would probably ask my mates to give me the numbers and i would pick them in that order - then i know who's heads to kick in!! lol!!

Shame that Fadil won the 1p - i was gutted that i mised the show - it was a decision to either go out to the opening of the new "X-Scape" nightclub or stay in - i had to choose the night out i'm afraid!

One day someone's going to gamble with 1p and £250k left at the end!

I was thinking about this in bed last night (I couldn't sleep! :P ) I think if I ever got on the show and that was the situation I think I would go on, because like Fadil I would just be happy to be there for the experience rather than winning any money. And either way it goes, I'd be remembered for a long time. :-D

Anyway as for Fadil's game, that just unfortunate, He derserved the 35k. The last offer was way too low. Shame. :( Oh well with a positive attitude like that who needs money to win happiness! I nearly cryed myself when Una was saying that speech at the end.

Gutted, but he seemed to take it well I think.

Fadil's system is the only one I think is any use. You could spend months working out averages but this game is all about luck, so his method of pre-picking numbers from a hat was a good system.

Having any particular system, or not having one at all for that matter, can't change your chances of doing well - after all, the box contents are entirely random.

However, where a system can help is by making it easier and less stressful for the player as it takes away one of the things they have to think about, the decision of which box to pick next. If a player doesn't have a system they are influenced by all kinds of things, lucky/unlucky numbers, friends among the contestants, "Black Widows"/"Terminators" etc. A system whether it be racing drivers, Chinese takeaways or pre-selected random numbers, just makes the next box selection automatic and leaves them with just the game situation itself to think about.

As i have previously said on the "darkdide" my system would consist of my mums mini bingo machine, 22 balls, pick out my number and then spin the bingo machine:)

Was wondering though if i would be alllowed th machine on the table ? I think it would be hilarious :-D :-D :-D

Random in more ways than one!!! :-D

i wondered if you could look at the details on the site about where the 250k had been every show and work out which box was more liekly to have it etc, then reverse the numbers so that the box which had had it the least ws opened 1st etc?

I didn't get to see Fadil's show because I was out. I didn't get to see it on More4 as they were showing 100 Greatest Musicals!

So, there's now 3 members of the '1p Club'. Nick, Trevor and now Fadil. Shame :( :( :(

It doesn't work like that. Each day, a contestant has a 1/22 chance of having the 250k.

Ack, unlucky Fadil - a great game though, and I totally loved the way he played it. £7k was such a low offer for that last round, don't think it really left much of an option.....

Cheers

Michael

Just finished Watching this on More4...

Very, Very gutsy at the end there, but with the offer as it was, I probably would have gone on too.

Now, to watch Gabrielle's Game....
