Yet another game that never really got off the ground... how depressing :(

Oh well, well done Pauline!

No. I think it was an internet entry who put all her details in caps.

Well it was really, if you ignore the joke opening offer... in fact, you may as well discount the first two offers as nobody ever deals them!

Surprised to see someone cut their losses at such a low level, although the offer was better than I expected at that stage. But had she gone on I suspect she would have swapped for the £10,000 box...

And why do we always seem to get such crap games on Sundays? If you take out PJ's bonus prize, nobody's got more than £10,000 since David on Easter Sunday!

Oh that was painful, poor Pauline!

How many times do people decide to cut their losses and go home with a disappointing but useful sum, only to find that they would have been right to do so? And I thought it was going to be a good game becuase the 1k went early! :(

It was like Dot all over again!

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

No, not Kat Shoob, whose name backwards is "Boohs Tak". The other Kat.

I do like funky glasses. Today's game never really got going. Still, £1,600's a nice amount of money.

Another game with depressing luck and disappointing offers.

The board at 11 box wasn't looking too bad and it was well worth going on I thought. Even my bestest buddy Adam said carry on. But that quickie round effectively finished the game off.

Having been brave enough to no deal the £2500 at 8 box I couldn't for the life of me see the point of dealing at £1600 at 5 box. Even my second bestest buddy Eric said she might as well go on.

Cue interfering daughter. Game over.

If Pauline had played on and swapped for box 10 (which she'd saved) she'd have gone away with £10,000. She should make her daughter pay her the difference!

Sorry to bump an old thread - I wouldn't normally, but I forgot to comment on Pauline's game - and I liked her on the wings and in her game, so it was such a shame that she didn't win more - her game was one of the many bad-luck games around at the time and it couldn't be helped that she only won £1,600, but at least she didn't try and chase the money and blow the lot - it's such a shame that she was left with a good final two though! :(

Well done Pauline and enjoy the money!
