It's the Cocky Bill finish (but the other way round)! And I thought that the £1k was there yet again! :)

That's a keeper for sure! Well done Joe on breaking the spell of sub-10k wins, hopefully this will turn things around like Charlie's game did two months ago today!

Everyone else - COME ON!!!! :-D :D

Interesting game, I didn't think the offers were that high but they were very inflated a couple of months ago! I have no idea what I would have done at 5 box whether I would have dealt or gone all the way for 10k!

The 5 box offer should have been around 35k IMO.

I thought I would find all the shouting and dancing annoying at the start of the game, but it was actually quite endearing. I had the same feeling as Joe - I thought he had the £35k. And the £1,000 was STILL in play in the last 3 boxes! Nice to have a decent win, after the run of lower wins we've had.

Great game, it's good to have a high energy show like that
every now and then if not everyday! I thought Joe's gambling
instincts might take over at the end but just as well they didn't.
Well done Joe on £26,500! :D

Hurrah!! Finally a good game, and to someone I really liked as well - I can see why Joe might have annoyed some people but I thought he was great. The offers were interesting too; they were all lower than I was expecting but still testing for the board, and the last couple seemed to give Joe a big problem. Great show all round!

I can see why people would like Joe but he was far too OTT for me! :? Still, he certainly provided a good atmosphere that is the sort of thing that would be brilliant in the studio... but irritating on TV.

Interesting comment that Noel made about him being popular in the hotel - sort of proving how some long runners have done so many shows.

Still the game was excellent and at last we had a win above £10k, ending the record-breaking run of wins below £10k and his £26,500 win was an OPW!

Well done Joe, enjoy the money!

Great show, just what was needed at the moment - a really positive and enthusiastic contestant who went out there and beat the Banker as well!

Hopefully this will be what's needed to pick up the atmosphere and give us some great games and big wins. And we even saw Adam tell someone to no deal!

What a great game! It was just what the show needed after the run of bad luck we've seen recently.

I liked Joe, although I can certainly see why he'd annoy some people.
He reminded me of Andy Kelly when he went round slapping everyone's hands after the £250k went.

Not my kind of person really. Too irritating and loud.

But Joe had the right attitude to take the game by the scruff of the neck. The streak of bad luck seemed to have come to an end at last and although I thought both £16,500 offers were a bit stingy for the boards plenty of recent players would have been out of the door with either of them

At 5 box with 5 reds including the £250k, £35k, psyched up, shouting, dancing and punching the air I thought he was just the player to go for it ........ Yeah right! A pretty lame £26,500 offer, white flag raised and he was outta there. Talk about all show no go.

But perhaps his confidence and rabble rousing routine plus the fact he gambled further than the 3rd offer will instill some self-assurance and backbone into the rest of the contestants for future games.

And I did notice Adam advised a no-deal during a sweep. I'm gradually warming to him you know ;)

AWESOME!!! That was the awest some that ever somed! It won the 2007 Awesome Award for Awesomeing Awesome in the field of Awesomeness!

Absolutely fantastic game which is already candidate for Heat 1 of Show of the Month, Joe was just legendary, I've absolutely loved the atmosphere in the studio over the last few days and that was the best in ages, there was just this aura around Joe throughout the entire game where you could simply *not* imagine him as a blue or even low red winner. I'm so glad that aura proved true and he got the biggest Banker win since Derek, and biggest win full stop since Jeff! Really well done Joe!

Yes but that was only at 11 box, I'll be more impressed if Adam encourages a no deal at 8 box or even 5 box! :D

i don't know what I would have done today as the offers were a bit lower than I expected. i would have definitely got to 5 box but had no idea what to do as I thought the £26,500 was a bit poor. It was only 44.3% of the mean! I'd also want to make the most of an all red final five. I might have gone all the way but I'm not sure. The banker sure is playing contestants well at the moment.
