Well in my experience, mates with loaded parents always had better cars, better hi-fis, better clothes, more money to spend going out despite 'having no money' like me.

Which may give a possible reason for her early deal. If she's had plenty all her life perhaps she had no real hunger to chase the big money like I would have had at that age.

All I heard him say was "I would"...I took that to mean he would go on, but I guess he could have been saying he would deal.

I think she made it pretty clear she had no money. You're making it sound like she was the heiress to the Walls or Cornetto empire...

Undeniably though, she was a cautious player but, as others have said, it's this grand mix which makes the show all the more fascinating. As my old A-Level English teacher used to say 'Try to think in colours, not in black and white'. Admittedly, that wasn't much use when you're sat in an exam struggling with Chaucer...

Anyway, I really liked Sarah and hope she puts the £7500 to good use.

Not sure if I was hearing things, but I'm sure Noel called the day "Saturday" and referred to "yesterdays" game.

I'm guessing that means they were planning to move it back to Saturday for some reason, that didn't happen, and then they forgot to edit it?

Yes, Zeddie picked up on this earlier as well in the thread.

It was either a slip of the tongue by Noel, or as you say, they had planned a schedule change and never went ahead with it.

At the intro Noel says 'I hope your weekend is going fantastically and I hope Sunday is now going to be very special for the fans of Deal or No Deal'.

So the game was definitely scheduled for Sunday.

But he did say 'yesterday's game' later on so it must have been a slip of the tongue that got past editing.

Aww I LOVED Sarah. However cowardly you think she was, she was one of the sweetest loveliest contestants ever. She was so happy and smiley and just seemed to treat the whole thing as a laugh. She's definitely in my top three Sarahs...

For what it's worth, I could understand her deal...it was a horrible board really, taking £7.5k and having £250k would be painful but then it could quite easily have become a £10k (or even a £1k!!) board by the fourth offer and that would arguably have been worse. She still seemed happy with what she had at the end and would probably only have got £10k more at the very most so I don't think it was too disastrous.

It could never have become a £1k or £10k board as she had £100k in her box. I felt she made a mistake and went too early.......

£7.5k is easily money you could earn fairly quickly, £100k unless you are in a well paid job will take you years to get to that level after tax.

She made a major error and she will live to regret it I fear.

Yes, because she obviously knew that at the time of the deal... :?

Well that's all very well saying that afterwards, but at the time, Sarah didn't know she had the £100,000 in her box or otherwise she would have no dealt, obviously. Daniel was just weighing up the possible outcomes that could have happened if she no dealt and a £1,000 vs £10,000 board could have been one at that time, obviously it wasn't though because she had the £100,000 but you don't know that at the time!

ITA I thought the deal was bad at the time but the £250,000 went in the proveout and most people wouldn't have gambled £7,500 on a 4 blues vs £100,000 board anyway. I would have dealt aty 5 box but could've no dealt the last offer.

Sarah's deal was quite surprising but I can quite see why she dealt... that board could've easily fallen apart and she'd have struggled to see an offer as high as £7,500 again if it had, so if the money meant that much to her (which it clearly did), then I see no problem in her dealing when she did!

Well done to her and I hope she puts the money to good use and / or enjoys it!

Sarah made her decision. And I'm sure she's regretting it.

As well she might.

Sarah might be in the running for my fave W2'er. She was that great. And I loved the way she didn't seem the slightest bit bothered about having the £100k, everyone knew it was going to take someone like Buddy or Khanny to have got to the £100k! (For what it's worth, I'd have won precisely a quid more than Sarah)! ;-)

I wish someone would give me £7,500!

Hurrah! She's not as good as Pat G or Leila IMO but I think she just about beats Roy.
