Maybe it'll go in an odd way, like hitting £250k this round but keeping £100k to very near the end?

Mystic KP called it right! :-D

The banker says this is one of his greatest days if Sarah has the £100,000

Banker would have offered

Noel says you blew £17,500 there... Sarah says she would have dealt for the £17,500

Noel opens box 6 and reveals £100,000

Box 3 contains 1p

Sarah says she is disappointed, but she does have the £7,500

Well you can't fault the Banker for honesty, that or he's listened to the forum's critiques!

She looked like Swappy Barbara, she was an ice-cream-related-person (like Gaz), and she also had £100,000 in her box...

Crazy.

Ah well, WELL DONE SARAH! :D

Well Done Sarah, £7,500 is a lot of money and she was obviously happy with that and it was the right deal for her.

Banker's offers show no consistency. When does anyone get an offer of £17,500 with £100,000 still on the board.

Players should NEVER deal at the third offer. I knew at the time it was a big mistake and I was right...

Well, at least it wasn't the biggest loss on the £100k box, and she wouldn't have got to the really big money without taking the huge gamble at the end!

Probably in the top 10 most cautious deals of all time, but it was obviously the right one for her - the "cautious student" effect as seen on the Dealometer is shown in reality!

When the other box is 1p and the player is as cautious as Sarah is. She would have dealt it so the Banker obviously would have pitched it correctly.

She was an extremely cautious player though. That was very similar to Johnnie's game. He dealt at £8,300 at the third offer and ended up with 10p vs £100k.

As a percentage of the mean that was even lower than Laura's £45k! Maybe they were trying to stop her doing a Teary Donna... though such an act was always going to be in vain given what she had!

And for what it's worth, I'd have ended up with £7,501 out of that game. The £17,500 offer might well have been turned down though, although I'd have then ranted at the low offers, swapped for the 1p and put Swappy Barbara well and truly in the shade!

Aww I LOVED Sarah. However cowardly you think she was, she was one of the sweetest loveliest contestants ever. She was so happy and smiley and just seemed to treat the whole thing as a laugh. She's definitely in my top three Sarahs...

For what it's worth, I could understand her deal...it was a horrible board really, taking £7.5k and having £250k would be painful but then it could quite easily have become a £10k (or even a £1k!!) board by the fourth offer and that would arguably have been worse. She still seemed happy with what she had at the end and would probably only have got £10k more at the very most so I don't think it was too disastrous.

It really winds me up when people come with shopping lists and are not there to play the game.. dealing at 7,500 was crap when having the 2 big ones still in play. she really showed the whole purpouse of the game up BIG time! :(

However Sarah seemed a lovly girl and I hope she enjoys the money :)
