I was quite surprised at the deal today, I think that's the first OPW for less than £9,000 since Ottis, back in September. Well done Jenine!

They don't 'give' contestants the 1p, I've seen the box selection happen live in front of me and I assure you it's totally random!

Awesome game today, though, Jenine absolutely rocks and it's great to see two OPWs in a row after the equally great Derek. Being 1p club member number ELEVEN is something she definitely would not have deserved, so well done on her £8,000!

Hope it's an OPW tomorrow, we haven't had three in a row since way way back in January *2006*!

It was nice to see a parent who didn't pressure the contestant to deal for a change.

Another struggle from early on in the game. Thought she dealt a bit early for the board but it was apparent she was very nervous and I wasn't surprised when she bailed.

She seemed pleased enough with the amount and once again caution pays off. :(

Well done Jenine. I thought it was great when Noel seemed to be saying that the 1st proveout offer would have been higher than 8K but it wasn't which I must admit was a pleasant surprise! Is the banker going soft in his old age? :D

I think that's residual regrets from PJ's game - the Banker's stopped being so manipulative for now at least and is being more honest, about time too! I give it three weeks before he adopts some form of stupidity again...

£8,000 is a good fortune, well done, Jenine :-)

Wow, that was one for cautious people everywhere - I reckon I might well have ended up winning 1p there! I love 4-figure OPW's, £8k is a massive amount of money to some people and it's good to see someone really appreciate the value of it. And I actually applaud the banker for completely defying Noel and not going to something like £13k on the last 5, which would have been the mean - I reckon £8k would have been about right for that board in active play - maybe he just did it becuase he fancied Jenine! :)

My initial reaction to what I would have done would be win 1p, but I might have seriously considered the second £8k - I thought it was a definite ND at the time due to it being a non-inflated proveout offer! :)

And if she'd played to the end, we'd have had a full wing line-up of 1p winners!

These games are quite enjoyable, ok £8000 isn't a huge sum of money like £50k but nonetheless it was the most she'd have got from her game.

And having the 1p box is the icing on the cake.
