Unless you had an absolute target of £25k which you refused to go under, the extra £2k shouldn't make a difference to your decision.

Kirsty asks if that raise changes anything, there is little response. Apart from Jeff...

Noel again asks the question, and before he can finish the banker phones again!!

It's £26,062 + a plaque that says I didn't make a fool of myself on national TV

Kirsty says

NO DEAL

When will the contestants and Noel realise that pretending the £250k isn't there will make it somehow stay there?! They need to assess the board and realise what would happen if the £250k goes - she didn't - and look what's happened!

The banker says that Kirsty will go into the Hall of Fame if she takes this next offer, as it would be the lowest offer ever taken...

The banker offers

£19.99

She had the chance to take Geordie's record and she's even missed out on that! Still, I suppose £100 is better than a place in the hall of fame for lowest deal ever!

Still, at least she remained true to herself, etc.! :?

Just imagine if she'd dealt at a low amount and had a £26,062 proveout offer - Noel would be going mad!!!

I suppose all the no-dealers in the forum will be giving Kirsty a lot of respect for turning down £26k only to see the game fall apart, rather than maybe admitting it might have been an acceptable decision to deal.

I'm not sure what I would have done myself. If I'd decided I was going to 'no deal' at £24k, the extra £2k wouldn't have swayed me. I would have seriously thought about that offer, though. Hard to say.

Any more proof needed now that the chants have got to go?

Total disaster :(

For *beep*'s *beep* *beep* *beep* *beep* *beep* sake. Deal or No Deal is such a pile of *beep*. The ONE time it would have been *beep* right to take £26k (give or take sixty-two quid) and she doesn't *beep* take it. Urrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh. I loved Kirsty.

That was breathtaking inability to read a board as far as I'm concerned.

I don't know how many times I'm going to furiously say that when you only have two good amounts on the board at eight-box there's a near-65% chance of hitting one and a 10.7% chance of hitting both... and why is it that whenever people do realise that, they invariably not only keep both to five-box but have one of them on the table?
