when was the 250,000 in box 4 last, box 4 seems to be having a lot of blues in them at the moment.

All 9 members did get the opportunity to bail out at the final 2 though - PJ didn't (I'm not justifying what happened at the end but given that we was denied the chance to take away probably around £20K - it seems some sort of justice has been done).

Jamie's game, funny, because it's had the £250,000 the second most behind box 2.

Yes exactly! The other members of the 1p club all had a chance to play a normal game, whereas PJ didn't!!! :?

It would have been a normal game had he not swapped at the beginnning, or had dealt previously.

It's funny that Noel keeps going on about courage but the fact that PJ didn't have the courage to open box 19 left him open for the banker's evilness.

So confusing.

Is he the 10th member? I think that depends on whether we count his winnings as 1p or £15,000.01

I think they should stop allowing people to swap, and play the game with the box they picked at random.

His winnings are £15,000.01, but personally I still think he was cheated of about £5,000 - £10,000.

ITD...I think DOND's been back to its best lately and they've really spoiled it by messing around with it again. At the moment I'm in "I will never ever watch another game for as long as I live" mode, but I'm almost certain I don't have the willpower for that...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deal_or_No ... iewers_Box and go to 11.1

I placed it on Wikipedia as it shocked me.

BTW, that still makes him someone in the 1p club as, when the last box is opened, it's the end of the game. So he is still in the 1p club, but he just won 15k extra.

But before the end of the game when he opened his box he should have had an offer to give him a chance to bail out. Also its fairly obvious that the Banker was going to give him a chance to win the viewers prize if he did have 1p.

That was nothing short of SICK. I think the whole street would have heard me blaspheme when the 1p was revealed. PJ deserved a medal for taking it so well, if it had been me I'd have been destroying the studio and all sorts. And I reckon they only gave him the LTL prize to try to cover up the evil thing they'd done so they didn't lose nearly all their viewers. And I also reckon they gave the lady who picked the box a tip-off that the highest amount was in 3. I think there'd have been a mass lynching otherwise, if anything it was worse than what happened to 1p Trevor and sequencegate.

They had actually threatened to do it in G.K.'s game (not give a final offer), but I didn't think they'd actually do it. I guess the fact that he'd kept his original box to the end gave them the opportunity, and they thought he was unlikely to deal, but in reality I think most people would deal anything sensible on that final pair, they just wanted to see a no-deal for the drama element.

That may have long-term consequences for future players too - I can see many more earlier deals on volatile boards, and a lot of people will play for the final pair offer, but will be scared into thinking they won't get one.

I still feel like writing in and complaining even with the extra 15k he got!

It's a sad day for the game. :(

They do this sort of stuff to make deal or no deal more tense and exciting, not to be complained to.

I think that was one of the best games ever.

When the contestants sign up for the show, they do it on their own free will, and they know they are going out there to entertain and make a TV show. You see, that's the thing with TV shows, they're for entertaining purposes. I don't know what some of you think it's for.

I think the swap at the end was the best twist ever on the show. I don't care if they did what they did to PJ to Gandhi, or Mother Theresa or Hitler for that matter. It was a great twist to a TV show that entertained me and I'm sure millions of other people were entertained.

You see, I don't really care what happens to contestants on the show. I think the swaps offered to Craig and PJ are completely justified. It is a TV show, and just because a few people on the net are bothered about it, I doubt they will hesitate to do it again.

Well done Banker, well done Endemol, well done PJ, well done Lynn, well done Jo, well done lady in the audience, well done EVERYONE who contributed to that show cos it was entertainment to the max.

Let's just hope they never repeat today's trick in a non-swap game. If they did that, I think they would a riot on their hands.
