Highland Memories (Cuimhneachan Gàidhealach) DVD is now on sale

The official film of the Masters World Championships 2006, the biggest Highland Games ever seen in the Scottish Highlands, with commentaries in English and Gaelic. 100 Heavies, 9 World Titles and a video tour of Scotland’s most beautiful region.

Running time: Highland Memories / Cuimhneachan Gàidhealach 29 minutes, Video Postcard 19 minutes.

(Contains an interview with former DOND Contest "Geordie" Gerry Reynolds and is a must for anyone looking for an unusual DOND related "breaking up" present.)

Save us a copy please. I'm bringing up my portable DVD player next week. I'd quite like to see this - assuming the price isn't completely ridiculous! I know £20 would be somewhat ironic given the circumstances, but I'd only really want to pay half that price if I'm honest. What does it sell at? 8) Your 'official merchandise' shop doesn't seem to be working at the moment...

Anyhow back on topic - Den's game. Congrats on the £12500. Good call. I'd have probably gone a round before at £10K, but then my chicken credentials are well-known!

That game was the best! I love Den!

Yeah ok, it wasn't a big money win but she still beat the Banker! And there were loads of banter between the contestants which I love! That was a great example of the the sort of game I like! Welldone Den! :D

What an awesome game!! Den was a legend and the minute the £250k went in the first box I thought "Here we go, another great character has a *beep* game...", but I'm so glad she turned it around. I was pessimistic all through that game actually...when she dealt I assumed she'd have £75k, then when Noel was on about how great it would be if she had 50p at the end I was thinking "Nope, there's no way she does". :?

She should have won tons more but you can't really complain at an OPW...50p has such an awesome record lately. I think every time it's come to the table in Season 2 it's been either an OPW or a 50p win...both excellent results!

A nice player, makes a change!

Liked Den loads, a deal which I can't fault to be honest although I'd have taken it to the end today.

Great show, was looking forward to this one and as Daniel said it looked for a while like she was going to have a really crap game like so many of the legends in the wings seem to - but to turn it around and get an OPW, a fairly small one but an OPW none the less, was great to see!

I was really hoping she would deal that as I didn't want to see her go away with peanuts, though wouldn't have been too surprised if she'd been a "had a great time and play the game to the end" type. (And while I wouldn't have wanted to see her go away with 50p, the Den and Dennis club would have been quite cool...)

I loved Den to bits. Lot of sparkle and banter and great sense of humour to go with it.

How she kept her chin up with such unrelenting bad luck I'll never know but I don't blame her for dealing when she did though I would have gone on one more round at least. She got out at just the right time.

Great game Den.

Really pleased with that result - it was have been horrible seeing her go home with a blue, and I think it was a game very well played by both sides, and a great luagh in the porcess! Well done Den, you'll be missed! :)

I love Den. She's awesome! I wish we could have seen the show in full though, instead of the edited version! Congrats on your £12,500 Den, the show won't be the same without you!

I'll be honest and say I never really tuned into Den's sense of humour, which is odd as she seems to be well liked on here, so it's obviously just me! :P :? I couldn't really work her out, but I can see why she would be well liked!

She played a good game though and had an OPW, despite not winning a huge amount in terms of gameplay - so well done Den and enjoy the money!
