There's a good chance he doesn't know what day it is when he's given numbers that the 250,000 is in, and then he opens the boxes.

I'm from Essex, and I feel embarrassed.

Paul says he could have done without losing the £10,000 there. Noel points out that he could still have the £100,000 in his box, and he also has a nice backup with the £50,000. The banker says there is a good chance of Paul having a blue, as there are so many left.

Banker offers

£7.500

That's better says Paul, and Noel replies that you can start to believe there will be a massive turnaround now. The banker says that Paul will never get to the final of £50,000 and £100,000, as he will make the offers difficult for Paul.

Banker offers

£10,000

I was expecting maybe £15 or £16k there. £20k should be seriously considered.

The board now is similar to Lance's - he had 3 blues, £75k and £100k and an offer of £17,500 - I'm expecting Paul to get a similar offer of about £18,000. I doubt the banker will go above £20,000 on a board like this as the £20,000 is a bit of a psychological barrier and may make the player deal.

Haha, and it was bang on £20,000! That's a good offer for the board!

Paul's wife says that is near their target, and Paul tells her to sush as the banker is listening!! Den tells Paul the only way he will get the big money is if he is brave and takes the gamble, but remember what the flipside is...

Paul says

For goodness sake I knew he'd bail out at a whiff of a half decent offer.

Hes managed to get a good board after a disasterous start and just squandered it.
