I would have gone at the second £24k offer. It was a good offer, and the stability had gone when he lost the £20k and £100k. Losing the top amount, and he would have been lucky to see £24k again - as it was he got nowhere near that amount again. I just had a feeling the game was going to turn at that point, and I was right.

Even more noticeable how Noel has changed his tune since a few weeks ago. How was the end summed up? "You sold a £5 box for £4,444 which was clever. You could have had a bit more money, but you've made a lot of friends..." Apparently now £20k is "a bit more money".

Wasn't James there for Kerry's game?

No - he replaced Miles, who played one day after Kerry.

I really liked James, shame it went wrong but it could have been even worse (thought wakey might actually approve of the deal for once though!). I had to laugh at Noel though...would he have been as supportive if someone had taken the third offer for £4,444 and gone on to have two proveout offers of £24k?

I couldn't fault his deal, but audience members should keep their noses out of his game, they are just simply audience members and have no right at all to interfere with his decision. Family members interfering and throwing decisions like that is bad, but audience members butting in is even worse.

Have fun with £4,444 ( :D ) but i'd have won £10,000 in that game (Still an OBW, funny that, going to the end would have ensured an OBW)

I thought James played the game just right. He couldn't help the shocking bad luck and I really don't blame him for dealing when he did. He left with a few thousand which is still a good afternoons work. Well done.

All James' are great, and that was one of the most fun shows I've seen in a long time despite some vicious luck in the mid-late stages :)

That was really unlucky actually - Barry turned down more money on a similar board and won big (actually it was a worse board as he didn't have the 10k there), and Graeme turned down almost as much as £24k with only a rock instead of the £50k and won even bigger, so even though I think I'd have dealt the second £24k, I don't blame him him at all for going for it. Would definitely not have chanced it on the last offer - keeping your lucky box is one thing, swapping for it quite another - and £4,444 is a world away from a fiver!

I doubt he was influenced by the audience as well, I think he'd made his own mind up without them, given what he said about £4,444 making a difference to him - what difference would a fiver make to anyone! :)

Box 7 sems to be one that nearly always contains blues at the table - it's only ever had one Power 5 and it was swapped away! I think it may often have low values placed in it as its a lot of people's favourite number and they like to keep it or even swap for it!

Well done James. He seemed a nice enough guy and deserved the money.

I thought we were in for a big win after that start, but then it all went a bit wrong. I might have taken the first £24k, and definitely the second.

Never mind, £4,444 is still good. Well done James!

That was a shame that he had a horrible crash after 8 box but at least he dealt the final offer. The £900 was pretty poor. It was probably the most generous low blue v £10,000 offer ever!

Awww I really liked James, it's just a shame his game didn't turn out the way we all wanted it to but still £4,444 is better than nothing!

Welldone James! :D

That was a really funny, even if slightly risque game!

James should really have dealt at the £24,000, and after he no dealt that, I expected him to go all the way... but as Daniel said, imagine how Noel would've been if he'd dealt at £4,444, then had proveout offers of £4,444 and £24,000... :?

Anyway, well done James on the £4,444!
