Punishing her for not dealing earlier. It's a clever ploy by the banker, but my taste is to give a good offer when the board is becoming tumultuous.

8 boxes left

Mean: £4,858
Calc offer: £2,080
Actual offer: £3,000

The inevitable all blue round!

One all blue round away from an offer short of £20,000 here.

Pauline gets her much needed all blue round, and Jeff calls out you only need 3 more and you've cracked it :P The banker says he is in a tricky situation now.

Banker offers

£6,000

That's quite generous actually, we've had some really crap offers on £35k-and-not-much-else final fives before.

I wouldn't take it though, on a £35k board I'm going down to the final offer at least.

It's tempting to deal now as she's had it if she takes out the £35k in the next round!

Hm... I'd deal here. Though £3,000 is a backup, it's a considerable drop to £500, and then to £5 and £1.

Noel asks Pauline what her first reaction was to the offer, and she replies if it was a little more she would have taken it.

Pauline says

DEAL

I'd have gone on there, she hasn't. Understandable, but for a Sunday game, it was a bit rubbish!
