Nobody watching this? Shame they can't wait until after the football results to start these classic shows anyway!

Sure Daniel won't be missing the repeat of his favourite player's game (well, apart from Bunney and Buddy perhaps...)

Probably not. I think it's already been established that the vast majority of the forum wanted to see Pat M's game, but the vote went against them to Lucy. Maybe they were thinking of the wrong Lucy when they cast their votes... :ponder:

Why don't they call the current Shahid Shed?

Maybe he doesn't like that! The current one seems to be called "Shah" for short.

Oops! I forgot it was on, I'd have watched otherwise. I was waiting for the football results to come in. The debacle at Elland Road meant I turned over just to see the closing titles.

Anyway, the final part:

50p

Offer £27,500 NO DEAL

£35,000
£500
£50,000

Offer £35,000 DEAL!

£1
£250
£15,000

Offer £105,000 (yeah, of course it would have been, Mr Hugill... )

Lucy's box contains £100

Forgotten what a great line-up we had at that time anyway - plenty of legends in the wings, Joey, Wrighty, Ned, Margaret, Jaye, "Seth" Brian, Tingly Wingly Mike...

They can call Shahid (2) what they want - he's so awesome! :P

But why, oh why, are they repeating this episode as a "classic" episode? I really don't get it... it wasn't really that memorable and was a fairly recent one too! :? They should have a limit as to how old an episode to be to make it a "classic" one - I think six months would be a good level.

The best thing about that was seeing Jaye in her low-cut top and her reactions to everything - I'd forgotten just how totally HOT she was! :D

Well, this one won the vote and it is 5 months ago, though doesn't seem that long! We've had more recent ones already.

I would like to see the majority being older shows, but not sure if the votes will give us that as many people won't remember them as well as those of us on here!

I think back in 2006, that offer wouldn't have been unheard of, but at the time when Lucy's game was shown, it was considered to be hugely inflated. However, nowadays, the offer may be that high even if Lucy was still playing... who knows?! :?

JAYE WAS THE ABSOLUTE BEST PERSON EVER. I only watched a minute or so, to make sure it actually was Lucy and I wasn't missing anything good, but I still saw a bit of Jaye on the wing. :-D Urgh, why couldn't she have won £35,000...I hate Deal or No Deal.

The current inflated offers tend to happen early on in games. I can't see them making a six-figure offer on a £250,000/blue final pair - although I doubt we'll get an offer as low as Laura's again (and she had a low red rather than a blue of course) I wouldn't expect to see more than £70-75k either.
