i can imagine kev's relief when he was told that if he had swapped which he said he would of done he would of lost the 75,000.
On the other hand, he had the 75,000 in his box along, a bit more failth in the box at hand and he could of walked away big!

Kev enjoy your money a fascinatating game! :)

I'd have gone at £30K regardless of the board being strong, it is oh so easy for it to fall apart, and £30K would mean a fortune to me, and therre's no way I'd have risked it.

Everytime I looked at Kev he reminded me of Mel Smith for some reason!

The trouble with a board with lots of reds on it is that your bound to start hitting them soon. But wow what a way to hammer them. I thought he would be a bit shell-shocked after that and deal soon after.

A bit of a disappointment after such a good start. A bit more courage would have got more money again but not an unreasonable deal considering the circumstances.

I would have gone on but not sure what I'd have done facing 1p v £75K. At the time I would have gambled but after time to reflect I'm not so sure.

Wow, what a start! I reckon I might well have taken the £30,000 too, although he did have a very good board. Well done Kev!

Superb game Kev and you looked like you were enjoying every minute. WELL DONE HONEY BUN :smt058

Not to detract too much from Kevs game, but I thought Noel looked particularly handsome tonight. That man really does it for me !!!!

I really don't believe that anyone would even consider turning down £26k on a 1p/75k finish AND then swapping as well! Can you imagine how bad the atmosphere would have been if he'd actually done it? The only happy person would have been SWappy Barbara, although she swapped away more money, I think Kev's would have been much, much worse!

But apart from that a good game, the 3rd round board was a contender for "best board since Brenda", and £30k was nowhere near enough for me to have been tempted - 40 might well have done. Even after the worst round ever, he still had plenty of middle reds there, so it was the right decision at the wrong time I feel. I think I would have taken the £19k, with the 1p still there it was a big risk. I don't consider it any different to the 5 next lowest blues, but the banker tends to put in insulting offers with it there and you'd probably have to gamble, so only keeping two of the reds would get you a better offer for sure! :)

Thanks to everyone that was positive about my show. I am chuffed with the money and the whole experience. When your in the game you can't think. Some people have said I should have dealt at 30 grand but I would have been gutted if anyone I had seen on the tv did not carry on with a board like that. Big love to everyone. Great site
