And it (just about) is! (By £199, or £228.70 if you take the exact value my formula generated which I've been rounding off!)

That taunting offer again - he always offers that if the £250k's still there to get them to play on, so they think they can't take it even if its generous! :)

Noel wonders why it's £14,999, he tells us that the banker is looking for his biggest victory over a contestant who has the £250,000 in their box! Roy goes along the wings for opinions, and the majority say to go on.

Roy says

NO DEAL

Hopefully the banker won't do the same to Savvas as he did to Craig!

Good call there - though it wouldn't have been completely stupid to go there, it would have been very cautious with current offer patterns!

Unless the next offer is absolutely derisory I think he's got to 'play the game' and Deal.

Oh do we have the 'let's brainwash a player with deluded optimism after reality strikes' approach from Noel again then today?

About 70% of the board's value wiped out in one box, sending the offer range to £4,400-£5,600. Even the penny would bump that up less than a grand; £75k would send it tumbling almost into three figures.

This could be anything between the mean of over £11,000 and the FD of £3,700.

My offer range is nearer the latter, £5,050-£6,450.

I wish they didn't groan! That encourages him to ring back and up it further - this is just what we need, low offers to push the player on.

And just outside my range again - this is much, much more like it from the Banker, who I think has played brilliantly today.

It does indeed get the groans. Roy says it's tricky now, and Noel says if you take the £75,000 out, you'll be chasing the £10,000...

Roy says

NO DEAL

I can't see him being the first one from W8 to get an OPW - he has the keep the £75k to the last 2 to get offered more than £14,999 now....
