I didn't find the deal that surprising - he did seem quite cautious on the wings.

I'm not sure what I would have done on this one.

It's Steven's game all over again! Maybe he's feeling cautious after that wonderful advice he gave Theresa yesterday...

I like the look of that deal actually, though admittedly the QM being on the board may tempt me to go on. But £26k is good money, and I wouldn't blame him for dealing before the business end of the game. Have a feeling he would have been chasing that figure after that round.

From memory, Steven's board was substantially better. Can anyone clarify the comparison?

What a wuss No respect for dealing there theres 3 above It I hope hes punished now and the 250k is in his box - I find these people really weedy when theres clearly alot more in it.
If he only had 250k left or something then thats fine but he had too much back up.
Theres cautious dealing and theres down right cowardice this was the latter and the interfering old lady (sorry don't know her name off hand) on the wings saying think of your family probably threw him too.

PS - Steven had 4 of the power 5 and he wussed out.

I was shocked at the deal but he only needs to take out the £250k or £75k for the offer to fall and strugle to get back up to the £26k. This probably aint going to be a OPW but who cares when you have £26k!

I think if he doesn't hit the £250k and/or the £75k in the next three, it'll be at least a TBW! But that 1p - £1 block still looks good at this stage!

We're back
Noel says this is going to fasinating now, and tells us his stats team have been running around during the break to find out if it was a good move. Philip tells us that "she who must be obeyed" wouldn't have forgiven him if he lost the £26,000, hence the deal

Proveout round

21 - 1p Would have been the perfect start says Noel

22 - £1,000 Now there is a very hushed mood in the studio says Noel

Philip has to find the £250,000 now

19 - £75,000 Not enough says Noel

Vote of cofidence there from Den, backed up with the 1p! The £75,000 was maybe just enough, but with the bankers inflation it aint going to be.

Mean: £39,381.45
Offer: £35,000
Offer (%): 88.87%

I think it would only have been a maximum of £30,000 there in active play.
