Compared to yesturday, I totally agree.

T'was expecting more from today, seeing as yesturdays gamble might have encouraged others... disappointing.

Have fun with £9,000 :?

So would you rather have seen her gamble, just because of yesterday's game, only to lose it all? I was happy to see her deal before it all went wrong - she knew the game wasn't going her way, and it was lovely to see her beat the banker, even if it wasn't with a vast sum of money. Well done to Jeannie!

Or maybe that's just me.

Excuse me, but how the HELL was yesturdays game nonsense? Apart from the clown hat and the bow tie, it was most certainly the best game in a while. A change from the usual game we see nowadays...

Noel kept banging on about Jeannie doing 12 shows... and he said she did 11 shows at the end.....

I think Noel meant that she did 11 shows in the wings, and played on her 12th.

I really enjoyed that game, Jeannie played it well. I would have dealt there too, it was too much of a risk. Well done!

That was amazing! I love games like that where someone deals early and then completely destroys the board, but Jeannie really did take that to a whole new level - going from £9,000 to £90 would be absolutely heartbreaking, and she dealt at the perfect time just before the game completely collapsed! First all-blue final five since Emi, first *after* the player dealt, and only the third overall along with Geordie!

Aww, it's a shame she only did 12 shows, though, I really liked her on the wings. But for the second day in a row a great contestant gets a great OPW...heck, what with Jamie's OPW and Joyce's not-OPW-but-big-win, this has been one fantastic week so far! (funny how they all begin with J, isn't it?) Hope tomorrow and Sunday continue this great trend, really well done, Jeannie!

I rather enjoyed that game

First time in a long time I've heard the banker say something down the line :-D

Chants were completely toned down which is the way it should be

Jeannie - £9,000 well deserved

Wow, can't believe some people on here thought that was boring...I thought it was brilliant! When she dealt I thought "Here we go again, she'll keep the £75k to the end and have it in her box", but to destroy the board and have an all-blue final five was amazing!! I felt sorry for Jeannie being picked so early but she came across really well and hopefully having such a great result made up for it a bit...well done Jeannie!!

I also don't see the problem with her saying she wanted to enjoy the £75k but then dealing anyway...obviously everyone wants to get the big money, but practically not everyone can afford to risk it. It's alright to have big ambitions but you can get carried away with them; £9k was a very good offer for the board and I'd have dealt too.

I NEVER find an OPW boring, especially when they're achieved in such interesting ways such as today. I wish I was a betting man, beucase you could have got fantastic odds at a bookies an an all-blue last five but not in active play - ususally they're caused by people playing to the end with poor offers on bad boards! (Wish she'd found the £75k one box earlier and had an all-blue squashdown, but you can't have everything!) :)

I would have dealt there too - even keeping the 75k without the 15k to 5-box would not have raised the offer much, if anything, so to no-deal you were basically gambling on a 10.7% chnace. You can guarntee it would have been more in the proveout but lucklily he never got the chance!

Well done Jeannie, you were awesome! :D

What odds on an OBW (or even TBW) free week?

Yes, its just you.

That was one of the most boring games of the year especially after yesterdays excitement. And as for Noel wanting her to be a big loser - what a load of twaddle. He seemed genuinely pleased for her to me.

Jeannie was a lovely lady but you could see she was cautious and a bit shy so I wasn't too surprised she dealt at £9000. I would have carried on for sure hoping to hit the many blues left. Would have got peanuts lol.

I would have liked to see her gamble and win more. But it wasn't to be.

Also everyone is being very wise after the event here. Looking at her board with 2 decent reds and 6 blues I reckon most people would think theres plenty of blues to hit and a good chance of keeping the £75,000 in play and go on at least one more round.

Bearing in mind the whole game is based on gambling I thought she was very cautious to deal when she did. But as it turned out it paid off this time.

The mean was only around £11k, I think...that would have been an obvious Deal to anyone statistically minded. And as for being wise after the event, what about Barry's game yesterday?! He turned down some very generous offers and it could easily have gone wrong, but because the luck was on his side it's all forgotten about and everyone talks about what a great game he played. Not that I'm criticising Barry for his decisions - I thoroughly enjoyed his game as well - but I don't see how Jeannie's game was in any way boring or disappointing.

That was a strange tactic from the banker - he could have offered around 5-6k! However Jeannie recognised it was a great offer for a poor board so well done!

Well done Jeannie very well deserved. A fourth-offer-£9k OPW is such a rare thing, and one of the lowest OPWs ever. Congrats!
