Haha, for the second show running I don't get what anyone's on about...why was he cocky?! If he was there for six figures then so be it...everyone has their targets. It wasn't the greatest result but he pretty much had to take the £10k...I think it's only the third time an AMO has actually been accepted, though. :?

Paul H was offered an AMO right?

I can see why he carried on, when you consider what the offers are like nowadays.

Nope. The two before Steve to take one were Duchess Helen and Bearded Chris. As far as I can recall everyone else turned them down. (Madie, Irene, Wendy, Dennis, Julian, Sheran and possibly some others I've forgotten.)

Another steady, unspectacular game. I probably would have bailed out when he did. Didn't think he was that cocky, just very confident.

I thought my robotic dancing was bad but ....................

Well done Steve. Enjoy the money and take no notice of the others who said you had a cocky attitude, we need a few more people like you on the show to stop it from getting stale. I certainly dont agree you have a cocky attitude. Anyway Congrats on beating the banker :-D

Agreed. There's a fine line between confidence and arrogance and I certainly wouldn't describe him as cocky in the slightest. Displaying confidence in order to get larger offers is all part of the psychology of the game for me and I thought he played it pretty well.

Noel's description of Steve's game was funny today...apparently it was a Banker victory because he took £10k but could have had £17k if he'd gone on. Whereas Dee turning down £18k and then taking £10k was a great player victory! :suspect: (Not to mention the fact that Steve should really have taken the second offer anyway...)

Rita is such a legend.
Jamie wasn't too great at the Robot either.
Barry was great!

It seems like if the player deals early, then anything that's not an OPW (even a good TPW like Lisa's) is treated as an OBW, but if they deal too late, anything but an OBW is treated like an OPW (like Rob 2 and Irish Peter for instance)! Confuses me completely! :)
