Hmm, well I summed up my thoughts about Di's game earlier in this thread - I for one thought it was ridiculous to no deal that cast-iron deal offer of £44k and it was pushing into the "greed" territory... it was also a bit of a shock to see her deal at £8,000 as I expected her to no deal to the end - although I suppose it was nice to see her not get totally carried away, and deal for a relatively modest amount... so enjoy the money, Di.

Welldone Di, shame you didn't win £44,000 but £8,000 is still a good sum of money, I hope you enjoy spending it!

Wooo, that was a double shock.

Can't believe she turned down £44k and then couldn't believe it when she dealt at £8k.

I can't believe a lot of the reaction here is criticising her for dealing the £8k - I think it was totally understandable.

I think her train of thought at the £44k offer will have been something like: "Well, if I keep the £250k in play, the offer will be in 6 figures if one of the mid-reds stays with it, and double if it stays with a blue. If it goes, there's still two mid-reds there, so there'll still be a decent 4-figure get out deal which I'll still be happy with, and only a 10% chance of complete disaster, so I may as well give the HUGE money a shot".

While it's not what I would have done, if you think of it like that you can justify the way she played it! Just a shame she avoided the 10p rather than the £15k - the last box coice cost her £12k! :(

Also what I meant to add was that they was only a 10% chance of anything truly disastrous, as long as you dealt the offer of two on a mid-red/blue finish - if not then the chance of disaster increased to 30%!!
