Madness!

Haha!!

Noel talking about the £8,000 saying it's bigger "than a fiver or a tenner or whatever" - why didn't he say that when Steven dealt too EARLY and won £27,500?

He'll probably just go on about the fact that she could have had £20,000.

I have to say that game has annoyed me slightly. £44,000 was an inflated offer as it was and with that board, no-one in their right mind should turn it down. Gobsmacked.

I can't remember such a brave / stupid no deal and such a tense moment as the £250k box was opened!

I was expecting her to no deal that £8,000 offer!!!

It wasn't brave, as far as I'm concerned. But its her money.

 I was trying to be neutral there. ;) Maybe I should've highlighted "stupid" in bold - because yes, no dealing £44,000 on that board was plain stupid!!!

That was plain stupidity by Di to turn down £44,000, and I knew she should have stayed away from 22, as I was convinced the big money was there, but a shame she didn't then go all the way to find £20,000 in her box 11.

So she didn't come there for £44,000 but she dealt at £8,000?!

Mad ...

1 She really had/has no idea about even the most basic game playing
and
2 She can afford to turn down £44,000. (That sum would change most people's lives, mine included!)

She might have had a higher target than £44,000. And also, she might have thought she would have gotten another offer that high, at that same ratio.

Very odd decision - a 44k offer on a board a fair bit weaker than Kelsie's on Monday.

Can't believe she didn't take it - high chance of hitting the quarter mill and ending up with a much lower offer.

I'm sorry, but I have to say there is a line between bravery, stupidity and greed. I think Di's no dealing of the £44,000 crossed the line into "greed" territory - especially after she saw what happened last week, where several players went away with peanuts when they could've safely dealt at higher offers.

Either she really was mad, or she had been influenced by Noel's in recent games, whereby he has (more or less) implied that dealing is the wrong attitude to take...

She also had to consider the other games that went wrong, because the person dealt.

Well, I thought she was sensible. If people called Kelsie sensible for dealing an offer half of what it should have been, I am going to call Di sensible for declining an offer double of what it should have been. I am perfectly entitled to do so, and Kelsie lost more money out of it!

I think in the last week, there were more games where the player could've got more by dealing earlier in the game, than by going to the end.

Well, I think Kelsie's game swung her the most. Maybe even Patrick's!
