That is a very nice sum of money and he would always say to think carefully about the offers. He says that if £23,000 was sat in front of him he would grab it and run! Noel says well it is, and is a little confused why he doesn't take it then!! Steven says yes, but look at the board with the power 5 intact :D

Steven says

NO DEAL

Noel wonders how the banker will play it now with the £35,000 going. The banker says it's a very strong board

Banker offers

£27,500

The loss of the £35k shouldnt make that much of a difference in this round.

Boxes left: 11

Mean: £45,000.50
Offer: £27,500
Offer (%): 61.11%

Fair Deal: £20,337.51

Volatility: 1.02

I dont have a clue what I would do here.

Steven says it's a brilliant offer, and he thought the banker might stick. He asks for a sweep, and everyone says No Deal, he goes to his friend who also says No Deal

Steven says

DEAL

Even with an all blue round and an offer, lets say, 10k higher?

Because Steven made us all believe that he was going to carry on, and he called a very unexpected DEAL.

I'd have carried on there myself.

No, I think it was because after the sweep of conclusive No Deal's, general sense of No Deal and the fact he said he wouldnt Deal with 3 of the power 5 left he then dealt.

I would've considered dealing at that point as well - I have to say I'm surprised but pleased - Steven sounded like a reckless gambler when he said he'd always carry on if he had three of the power 5 left - but he's made a sensible decision, as the only way the offer will go up is if he manages to keep the Power 4 remaining pretty much intact!

Although I must say, going on in that position wouldn't have been reckless gambling, in my book

Like Tom Hanks and his football on that island in 'Cast Away', it looks like it's just me and the bots here now. But that's alright, we're having a grand old time. Aren't we, Wilson? WILSOOOON?!

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

I'm not saying no dealing in that position would be reckless gambling - what I'm saying is is that he appeared to be a reckless gambler, so it was a shock that he no dealt - hopefully Noel will shut up and / or remian neutral during the proveout now.

True, but I still think the Noel1512 part of him was calling Steven a naughty boy for dealing.
