That might have explained the offer - I'm guessing the Banker/Producer noticed that.

I notice some posts on this site criticise Endemol and/or production team but everyone involved with the show showed me nothing but kindness and in my opinion are genuinely rooting for you to win as much money as possible.

I think most of us are criticising Noel, and the blame on Endemol is being made because the rubbish he spouts runs counter to his 'positive thinking' mantra as espoused in his recent book. (Endemol have an unparalled history of TV manipulation - just look at Big Brother - which is why we're thinking that they could be responsible for turning Noel into a No Deal cheerleader.)

For what it's worth - I'd have taken £45k, maybe £30k. Wouldn't have taken £56k because the next (and last) psychological barrier for me is £100k, and that was very much attainable from there (a 30% chance of getting there or near enough it - 40% if you believe that final offer!) without it being stupidly risky (even the 10% disaster scenario would have produced a useful sum of money as a final offer - £5,600 I guess?) But I wouldn't have been playing at that point...

Georgina, I'd stopped watching the show live because I've been disgusted with Noel's manipulation and reckless contestants. I'd heard you were helpful on the wings, quoting the mean a lot of the time - I'm going to bet you got edited out a LOT - and as a result, I watched yesterday's show in the expectation you'd be on it, and you were! It was certainly worthwhile, ignoring Noel.

The offers were ludicrously generous in your time on the wings weren't they? (Offers late last year averaged just over half the mean between the third and fifth offers, and around 70% of the mean at the final two. Now they're above 70% of the mean by the second offer as often as not!) How did you feel when Dennis turned down the above-mean third offer? Angry? I would have been!

The players looked great today, any pics from the game?

My picture grabbing software went a little screwy yesterday during the game itself. :(

Did manage to take a few later from youtube though! :D

Suez - yep send me that questionnaire and I'll fill it in for you.

Because you stay with all the other contestants, film 3 shows a day with the same people, eat dinner together and then go on the lash together, most contestants become very good friends. The emotions you see between contestants are not false or acted for the TV they are real. As you are not in competition with one another, you want the best for eachother and it is awful when people go home with little or nothing. So KP to answer your question I was never angry with any contestant (Dennis you mentioned) for not taking good offers, everyone is there for a different reason and some just to play the game and all need to take responsibility for their outcomes. You can get carried away with the game in the crazy chair and I just wanted to point out to contestants good offers that were close or above the average.

George x

This was an amazing game played by an amazing player.

i really wished that i had still been on the West Wing to support my dear friend.

George played really well, i think i must have aged about 20 years watching her in the green room, no could see the telly as i was sat right in front of it.

She looked magnificent in the lovely dress.

You really deserved your win.

I am so proud and priviledged to call you and Mike close friends.

Well done again and take care. love andrew xxx
