There are certain contestants that really leave a noticeable gap when they're gone and you miss them, you will be very much missed Andrew! Although you didn't win a lot of money, I'm glad you took part, and have been on our TV screens for the past few weeks.

Can I be slightly controversial here and offer an alternative point of view?

I think I must be one of the few visitors to this site who wasn't in tears when I watched Andrew's game. It was clear to me that Andrew wanted to take the gamble. He'd been given fair offers that he'd turned down, entirely aware that the game might go belly-up on him.

Sure he was unlucky, but he didn't have a game where everything suddenly turned against him (e.g. Lisa from October 2006), nor was he forced on due to stupidly low offers (e.g. Geordie, Simone, 1p Trevor). He took a risky decision, fully aware of the risk, which didn't happen to pay off.

I hope I've not offended anybody with those comments. And it goes without saying that I'd have loved it if Andrew would have won more money. But that's the game.

Well in a way I do agree, I actually did want him to take the 3rd offer of £13,500 as I thought it was very good for the board! Would have been a fantastic OPW as well. I thought the offers after that were reasonable, not excessively high (like in Dennis's game), and I have to say I wouldn't have known what I'd have done for the 4th and 5th offers, I was just sad that they didn't pay off.

I managed to catch 10 minutes of it today, as I was away during the game, but I'm glad that you enjoyed the experience and I'm sure you've inspired many people, of course it would have been lovely that you took away a sum that you deserved.

No amount of money can give people the strength and brilliant attitude you come across with and with that, I'm sure you'll go far in life.

Well done Andrew on playing the game - it's a shame that it didn't pay off for you. :( You seem like a nice, kind and genuine bloke - and I'm sure you'll go far in the future - all the best! I hope you enjoyed your DOND experience and you'll be missed from the wings! :(
