You're spot on there H. The result was horrible of course, but I'm glad they avoided the limbo dancing and walking under ladders that have plagued this weeks games. There were no gimmicks in this game and it was all the better for it.

I saw Georgina (among others) trying hard to fight back their tears for Andrew before the game had even began. I have to confess to trying hard not to cry for Andrew myself, and it's a long time since I've ever felt that for a DonD contestant. I really wanted Andrew to do well. One of the best recent games ever I think in my book. It goes to prove that you can make a good episode without having to resort to gimmicks. DonD could do with a lot more people like Andrew applying. I just wish he could have won more.

I agree with everything that's been said. It was a classic DoND show, like when it first started. No silly antics or whooping detracting from the game itself.

Obviously the result was rubbish, I don't think anyone wanted Andrew to leave with such a small amount but he was really courageous and played the game in the way it should be played.

Well done Andrew, I hope you achieve everything you want to. You seem like a thoroughly nice guy.

Can i just ditto everything that everyone has said about Andrew. I have just been private messaging him over on screwthebanker and he was only concerned that people enjoyed his show. Just goes to show what a down to earth, decent guy he is. I hope you can all agree he is is one of the shows' most popular players and the look of respect and affection on his 21 fellow DOND-ers faces as the opened each book said it all. I dont think we have ever seen that before and it will probably be a long time coming again.

Thank you to everyone for your comments.

It was truely a fabulous experience, as i have to others the money may not have been life changing but the xperience was.

I enjoyed my time on the show, made some lifelong friends who i will never forget.

My life has changed since the show and i will never forget it.

The crew were truely amazing to me and noel edmonds was a wonderfuil man.

I had so much fun and miss it so much, i would love to go back in any capacity, even help mark with the warm up.

My hope after not getting the money was that everyone would enjoy the show. I hope i achieved that aim.

(i better get a tissue commerciual out of this)

I think this is one of the only times I've had tears in my eyes in an episode, and it happened just after box 11 revealed the last red amount on the board. It was a horrible moment for such a lovely guy.

Really wanted you to win lots Andrew...but sadly it wasn't to be.

But what you will have won is lots of friends during your 31 games on the show and that cannot be taken from you.

Good luck to a DOND legend.

Jim

Well that game left a dry lump in my throat. I was close to tears when the £50,000 went, that was horrible to watch. :(

I always say that no one deserves to go away with a small amount, but Andrew really didn't deserve to win just £10. :(

Andrew I would just like to echo what's been said already, you are a true legend and an inspiration to us all. I'd like to wish you the very best for the future in whatever you do and I really hope you achieve your dreams of seeing a space shuttle launch one day. I don't say this to everyone but you ROCK! :D

Well, Andrew, it's all been said already, what an inspirational guy you are, I also wept buckets of tears during the show. I would like to think that DOND would give you a job down there, here's hoping. Keep posting on the forums, Andrew, or we will miss you.

I cannot remember a show where I have wanted the contestant to succeed more. The world has too few gentlemen of Andrew's calibre.

Andrew, you will be remembered long after you've spent your tenner.

I hope you get to your shuttle launch one day.
