I'll use my 2,000 post to say congratulations to Dennis
for being a great contestant throughout his time on
Deal Or No Deal, having the courage to go to the final
box, putting a brave face on things when the game didn't work out
but saying how much he valued the DOND experience, and
getting into the hall of fame by becoming
the first member of the 50p club!

(but wanted him to win a lot more!)

Well, that was the type of game where I wanted the first 50p to happen, so I'm happy - and Dennis seemed fine with it too, so good on him.

But I don't think I'd have played until anywhere near the end with those bankers offers - the only one I felt was slightly harsh was the £4,001 at 5 box, but it stioll wasn';t overly bad considering Steve's £1,200 on that board which still makes me angry..... STill, Dennis never struck me as being a cautious player so I guess they weren't excessive, especially as they were no dealt! :)

Well done Dennis - I hope you get a Hall Of Fame section to go with all the big winners we've had recenlty! :)

Next thing I want to see on a disastrous game is for someoen to beat Geordie's lowest deal record!

Am I right in thinking every amount on the board has now been won?

What a legen Dennis is, easily one of my favourite players ever. Shame he didn't win a big amount but he still made the best of it.

Well said Rico, exactly right. Dennis was such a major player on the wings as proved by so many other contestants asking for and appreciating his analysis during their games. Such rotten luck that his game ended in a trainwreck and in contrast to Bunney's triumph only 2 games ago. What a week.

Immortality in the Hall of Fame as the first 50p winner is some consolation. As it was shown I was imagining all the DOND fans cheering at the 50p win, while casual watchers wouldn't have a clue what the significance was.

Also, Mally got a proveout offer ridiculously over the mean. Frank got one slightly over, but that doesn't matter. Any others people can think of?

Wow, I dunno what to think...it's a pity about the £50k going, but after 374 shows, we finally have our first 50p winner!

Was a great game. Took lots of guts to turn down those offers, and it's a shame they didn't work out, but as he says, he went on DOND for the experience, which is exactly why people should apply. And not only was it a great experience, he founded the 50p club! Huzzah!
