That has to be one of the best games ever - it wasn't a game where I expected a high win, as the board was never particularly strong - in fact, after she turned down £27,000 and the £100,000 was hit in the first box, I was sure it'd all go wrong!

It's just as well you had a £10k vs £75k finish, and didn't have £100k in your box, as had it been £10k vs £100k, the offer may have been high enough to tempt you to deal, only to reveal the £100k in your box!

I'm so pleased you got the £75k, Julie - so often the great characters on the wings end up going away with peanuts - luckily in this case though, a great character went away with a high amount!

You're now joint 6th biggest winner on DOND - and you're the fourth member of the £75k club - along with Germaine, Kirsty and Lynne. Enjoy the money and again, congratulations on a great game!

I had a feeling it was going to be a big win the way it was racing through the early rounds - I don't know if it was down to the editing but it looked as though the first 4 offers were hardly even considered!

I actually thought were were going to get the Lance finish, but I guess of all the boxes to have left at the finish with the £75k from the deal of 5, £10k was the best to have - if she'd left a blue, she may not have gone for it, and if she'd left the £100k, it would have been a bit of a disappointment having only £75k at the end. "Only" 75k, how ridiculous does that sound!

And Box 22 again - I got excited as soon as I saw she had it!

And it was even a better game than Laura's - an unspoilt £75k win is more exciting than a spoilt £250k one any day!

Congratulations Julie (and Sarah!!!) ;)

Haha, yes, I thought the first offer was turned down very quickly - normally the banker gets huffy at that sort of thing - so I was expecting Julie to get a slap on the knuckles, but it looked as though it had been edited!

Oh, I 100% agree - much more tense not knowing what's going to happen! :D

Well done Julie. Glad you took the £100K out because I'm sure you would have gambled on a £75K/£100K final 2 and would have lost out.

Look at the posts before that one. He predicted an offer of £8,500; the offer was £4,000 more than that.

it was all a fix. sarah probably wrote box 3/4/5/6/7[etc] on there but during the show they rubbed it out and replaced it with 22.

it has to be. 22nd show, 22 as the players box, also the players box being the same as kirsty's who mysteriously won the same amount and had a similar first few rounds.

Just want to say my feet haven't touched the ground today...it's been one big party... :D :D :P

I had such a fantastic game...I cannot believe how much was edited out...
It was all such a blur...........
One moment Noel was in the chair...next..it was me...???
& I did make a few quick decisions.....but not when we were in the shed... Noel even took me for a walk outside... ;)
My photo of my dad & the Playboy pictures weren't shown ??? :?
Nor was my poem read out... :(
So I wasn't disrespectful of the banker...in fact i think he quite liked me and was certainly very VERY kind
My offers were all very tempting....
But I wasn't expecting to play that day...!!!
and was totally unprepared ...if that makes any sense...
But there was a great atmosphere in the room & I really believed in myself & Sarah's predictions....and i wanted to prove to Sarah that she was right...7 to believe in herself.
Everything just all came togehter at the right time it was MAGIC.

i was talking about like, sarah could have actually predicted, say, box7 for julie, but theres the chance that the card could have been edited after she actually chose box 22.if you get what i mean.
